Ron English “Status Factory” Exhibition at Opera Gallery – Recap

Ron English "Status Factory" Exhibition at Opera Gallery - Recap

We take a closer look at the new works by artist Ron English, that are currently on showcase at the Status Factory exhibition at Opera Gallery.

“With the sponsorship of Opera Gallery, the pop-up exhibition was held in an extravagant triplex retail space in the heart of New York’s Soho district. As we showed you in the setup, the location was transformed by Ron & gang over the course of a week to give the audience the full experience of “Popaganda“.

The artwork seemed bigger in person than our preview indicated, especially in rooms with interactive sculptures to compliment the wild installations carefully created to enhance the visual experience provided by Ron’s fine brushwork and acerbic creativity. The unique show will run until October 29th so make your way down there to catch this spectacle.”

The large body of work by the artist is very impressive. Make sure to check out everything on view after the jump.
