Boston retailer Bodega have teamed up with Saucony on their Elite series Grid 9000. The shoe initially was released in 1994, still holds its original silhouette and GRID shock absorption system. This reworked Grid 9000 comes in four outdoor inspired colorways; blue/orange, black/blue, grey/blue and tan/black. Fine touches have been made on this updated collaborative piece with plush suede uppers and speckled heels. This premium runner, combined with ultimate comfort and premium finishing, is a limited release and is available from End Clothing.

Berlin’s Solebox crew is at it again. Later this month they will be launching the Solebox x Saucony Shadow 5000 ‘Three Brothers’ Pack. As many of you already know, the sneaker retailer is indeed headed by three brothers and therefore they produced a pack of three colorways of the iconic Saucony Shadow 5000 running shoe.

Each colorway of the shoes will come limited to 95 pairs and will release at Solebox on September 24th, 2011.

Originally released in 1991, the Master Control sneaker celebrates it’s 20 year anniversary in premium grey and beige colorways, each in heavy suede with thick nylon laces. Produced in very limited numbers. Now available through Premier and other select doors.

The latest Japanese Saucony Elite sneakers have arrived on US shores. “The 4 Shadow 6000 silhouettes feature amazingly rich suede and leather, while the Jazz ‘91 that was a huge hit in Japan boasts a nylon body with suede hits. We take a look at the newly released Saucony Shadow 5000 Luxury Pack. The pack consists of three premium versions of the classic running shoe. The upper is made of perforated nubuck, while the lining is made of smooth pigskin. The colorways are kept overall clean. The pack is now available from Extrabutter.

As we’ve seen, Berlin-based Solebox worked with Saucony on a two part pack that combines both old school and new school elements. Technical, lightweight and comfy, the modern Type A3 is made up in a black and salmon colorway, while the more traditional Shadow 90 revamps the Shadow 6000 with the 5000 sole unit from back in the day, again in black and salmon. These will be available March 20th at Solebox. Limited to 100 pairs of the Shadow 90, and 40 pairs of the Type A3.

Once again Saucony has teamed up with Boston boutique Bodega to collaborate on their Shadow 5000. For 2010 the sneaker comes 4 colorways – it will be available in a blue and red tonal colorway, as well as in blue/grey and acqua/grey colorways. Overall the entire line-up looks very solid, using premium suede and mesh on most of the uppers, white mid-soles and gum outer-soles make a nice finish. It looks like these will only release in Japan.

Solebox has gotten together once again with Saucony and presents this time around the Oldskool vs Newskool Pack. The pack consists of the classic Shadow 90 and its modern equivilant, the A3 running model. In terms of colors, Solebox used black and salmon on both sneakers. Solebox reveals their latest collaborative sneaker, this time with Saucony on the what they’re calling the Shadow 90. What’s a Shadow 90 you ask? As Hikmit from Solebox puts it “Shadow 6000 upper with Shadow 5000 sole unit = Shadow 90.” Black suede and mesh with orange highlights on a white midsole. Release date is estimated for November/December.

For Fall/Winter 2009 Saucony brings back their Shadow 600o inspired by the outdoors. The Outdoor Pack consists of three colorways of the running shoe, all three featuring a outdoor inspired upper, lining and a speckled sole. Look out for a release in the near future.

After previously working with Saucony on the Shadow sneaker, Alife Rivington Club once again gets together with the brand to bring you this time an interesting fusion model. The sneaker is equipped with the upper of the Saucony Jazz and the bottom of the Saucony Shadow. Mesh and premium suede make up the upper. A release date has not been announced so far, but we will keep you posted.

In an effort to bring something different to the increasingly-saturated collaboration table, Berlin-based Solebox worked on a high tech runner from Saucony, the Type A3. Combining both old school and new school elements, Solebox are starting the summer with what they describe as the perfect summer shoe. Technical, lightweight and comfy, the Solebox Type A3 is made up in a black and teal colorway with the words “kiss this!” molded into the heel. Available July 2nd at Solebox.

Solebox also revamped the Saucony Shadow 6000 implementing the 5000 sole unit from back in the day, as well as working on another Type A3 colorway, which will release later this summer.

We take a first look at a special limited edition Saucony Jazz style coming out later this year. It comes in an all silver/black patent leather colorway with lots of graphics and customization on the upper. Special labels have been applied to the heel and the tongue, and the sneaker comes in a special dust bag as well.

The Saucony Shadow 6000 comes this Fall in a limited edition pack. A nice mix of mesh and suede makes up the upper and the base white is only distracted from with the poppy red, orange and blue. A very clean silhouette coming later this year.
