Vita Brevis Films introduces SBTG in this the teaser to a short doc about the famous Singapore designer. The video gives a first look at the shoe collaboration between SBTG’s Royalefam and FICE, better known as “138.”

Singapore-based designer SBTG (best known for his custom sneakers) is seen here as the focus of 4-minute short film that was presented by Canon during Singapore Mens Fashion Week at Marina Bay Sands. The piece was produced in conjunction with SBTG’s new Canon camera wraps and straps.

In conjunction with the launch of Canon’s new EOS 1100D digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) cameras, renowned artist SBTG was commissioned to design a series of limited edition camera straps and protective wraps.

Available in four different versions of SBTG’s “Parsilia” camouflage motif, the premiums were designed to match the different colourways the EOS 1100D will be available in: black, red, metallic grey and brown.

Additionally, extremely limited editions of the EOS 1100D x SBTG box set will be unveiled at the launch of the inaugural Men’s Fashion Week (MFW) on March 30, 2011 at Marina Bay Sands.

Each box set will contain the EOS 1100D Kit, a matching strap and protective wrap in a SBTG-designed packaging.

DC Shoes continues to work with sneaker customizer SBTG. As part of their “Circus of Mutants” collaboration they present the Gatsby “The Fly” style. The low top sneaker comes in two colorways and features a fly design all over the upper.

Feb 14, 2010 heralds the year of the metal element Tiger, one of the most Aggressive, attractive and powerful in the Chinese zodiac. The metal tiger is never to be challenged, but admired and revered.

SBTG Basics special edition “Feline Fury” AF1 and Dunk Hi feature animal camo on the swoosh, metal vent monogram on side wall, and the Chinese “Tiger” character inscribed on the heel in metallic gold. Fire for the feet.

SBTG salutes the fighter plane art used by the notoriously successful “Flying Tigers” of 1941: the first American volunteer group in the Chinese Air Force.

The Flying Tiger features a freehand-replicated illustration of the namesake 1941 icon, toebox sawtooth nose art, bullet hole print and metal vent monogram on side wall. This sneaker is part of the SBTG Premium collection.

After seven years of creating over-the-top and off-the-hook customs, SBTG is going back to basics. Kicking off 2010 is a new permanent range with the maiden release based around the classic white Air Force 1. Spurred by requests for custom designs that were low-key enough for everyday wear but classic enough to wear with a suit, the result is SBTG BASICS.

The debut ‘Militarism’ collection features a choice of different signature SBTG camouflage prints on the swoosh: Tiger-stripe ‘Saigon’, German ‘Flectarn’, tribal ‘Rival’, game-hunting ‘Hunter’, and desert ‘Choc’ on a white, silver, gold or red base, all with a pristine white tongue. Each of the 20 different variations includes a discreet SBTG logo on the outer side of the toe and comes with a set of gold lace buckles.

For the second chapter of Varsity Bones, SBTG pays tribute to legendary pop culture icon Michael Jackson. Inspired by his famous red leather jacket from “Thriller” the Blazer features a leather jacket sewn in clean luxurious lines with studded collars, black satin, and geometric contrasts with a zipper baseline. The third chapter of the Varsity Bones saga is B.R.M.C: a fantasy biker gang inspired by a life on the road and on the run. The sneaker comes to life with an intense mix of locks and chains, denim rivets, gang patches, zippers on quilted linings and animal fur. The shoes will launch on OCTOBER 5th 2009 at Royalefam.

Working once again with famed Singapore-based sneaker customizer, SBTG, DC Life presents a capsule collection of collaborative gear under the Royalefam umbrella. Inspired by SBTG’s childhood skate gang, Circus of Mutants, the shoes were done up in a black and green colorway with familiar SBTG details and an abundance of Fly imagery. Don’t quote us on this, but apparently, each skater in the crew had their own nickname, with SBTG’s being “The Fly.” The capsule release includes 5-panel cap, snapback, boardshort and t-shirt components. The boardshorts stand out as especially fly to us. Hits select accounts for Spring 2010.

Singapore sneaker artist, SBTG, hit us up with the final version of his Prison Blues Dunks. This first installment of the ongoing Varsity Bones series features both a Dunk Hi and a Dunk Low with heavy denim and paint application. A zipper closure finishes off each sneaker. The shoes will launch on the new ROYALEFAM website this Sunday, August 9 at 10PM EST. Limited to 12 pairs per style.
