Directed by Babette Pauthier, the film features a series of the new collection scarves in dynamic motion, each of which features a variation of the iconic McQueen skull theme. Many of the designs are inspired by details from Sarah Burton’s Autumn/Winter 2011 collection for Alexander McQueen and feature key collection motifs such as broken porcelain, armour, feathers and tweed. Japanese brand Luker by Neighborhood has released a first batch of accessories from their Spring/Summer 2011 Collection. Included in the release are military inspired belts, beanies, light summer scarfs, as well as an interesting Beret Hat. Each item comes in a series of colorways and is now available from their online store.

Union LA is adding a couple of new brands to their tight roster this season, one of them being Junya Watanabe MAN. The collection has always been a favorite of ours, mostly for the little twists and changes on otherwise classic pieces.

The camouflage theme is strong for Fall/Winter 2010, and has been incorporated into knitwear and hoodies, as well as sweaters. The outerwear comes with subtle camouflage details, mostly on the lining. Union also got in two of the collaborative Levi’s denims for the season, as usual featuring patching and stitching details. Furthermore the drop includes belts, a scarf, brogues and more. A beautiful selection by the store, that will for sure find its customer. The line is now available here.

For their upcoming issue, Arkitip magazine will be celebrating the 2010 Football Worldcup. They worked hand in hand with Chinatown Soccer Club on the new issue and as part of the collaboration also worked with adidas on a soccer scarf with a South Africa theme. Once again Undercover gets ready to release a couple of special items from their Spring/Summer 2010 Collection. The drop includes a backpack, denim, as well as some scarfs. All three items come with a worn in look and incorporate similar materials. The result is especially interesting on the backpack and the denim, which both feature a tonal patchwork contruction.

We cannot emphasize enough how impressed we are every season with the development of New York brand 3sixteen. The growth of the collection in recent seasons feels very organic and at the right pace. The latest pieces to be added to the collection are a blazer, a duffel coat, a stadium jackets, as well as some shirts and accessories, including ties and scarfs. The scarfs are crafted from 100% Woolrich wool, the ties are 100% silk and handmade in New York. The new jackets are also all US made, ensuring a high quality level. Compared to previous collections, the new line definitely seems to come with higher pricing, which fits the look of the brand though. All new pieces are now available in the 3sixteen online store.

The next collaborator of Altamont for Holiday 2009 is 10.Deep founder and creative director Scott Sasso. The outcome is a small capsule collection, consisting of a hoodie, shirt, t-shirts, cap and a scarf. The collection fuses the Altamont style with details that we learned to appreciate in the 10.Deep collection.

Taking cues from the namesake Altamont tragedy of 1969, Scott invokes the event and the era through motifs like a raceway checkerboard pattern, a bloody arm, psychedelic imagery and a reference to the infamous event security, or lack thereof. All these elements are incorporated with Scott’s signature 10.Deep attention to detailing and unique patterns to create a completely modern brand mash-up.

As part of the Sophnet 10th Anniversary product collaborations, their more high end uniform experiment line worked on a collaboration with Supreme on the Supporter Muffler. The scarf combines signature logos and patterns by both brands. Look out for a release in October at Sophnet stores, Isetan and also at Supreme stores.

Following the highly anticipated US Tour of the English Premier League’s Chelsea Football Club to the US for “friendly” matches in summer 2009, one loyal, yet unexpected, fan’s enthusiasm has spurred the creation of a limited-edition shoe to celebrate the camaraderie of sport.

Long standing Chelsea FC fan, NBA All-Star Kevin Garnett was the inspiration behind the new CFC- themed adidas TS Commander LT. This limited edition shoe incorporates an iconic royal blue and white split suede upper, a laser etched soccer ball pattern on the midsole and CFC yellow accents, including the team’s traditional lion’s crest, embossed on the tongue.

Boston-based Bodega will offer an exclusive CFC tribute package consisting of the TS Commander LT x Kevin Garnett x Chelsea FC, a Celsea x FC Bodega team scarf and CFC replica jersey featuring Garnett’s name and number on the back. The package will be sold exclusively at Bodega for $275 starting August 29th.

The sneaker will also be released in other stores in the US, but only starting November 1rst.

The brand has been on the up for a couple of seasons now and impresses with this new range once again.
