Finally we have a date – the much anticipated S/Double website and online store, fully stocking the first collection of Shawn Stussy’s new brand, will launch on April 12th! Mark your calendars!

We get a first look at some denim and a t-shirt from the S/Double collection by Shawn Stussy. To be honest we were not sure if the line would consist of anything other than footwear, but it certainly now seems like it will. Hopefully we can show you soon the full Fall 2009 Collection. After months of waiting and previews coming in, the first official release of Shawn Stussy’s new brand S/Double, has come out – the Stadium Shoe. Inspired by traditional and college life, the shoe comes in black as well as brown leather and is now available at colette.

After recently showing you first images of this exciting get together of Vans Syndicate and Shawn Stussy’s S/Double footwear brand, we can give you another look today. Choosing to upgrade and rework our popular AV Sk8-Low, the timelessly cool low-top features ultra premium leather and ballistic nylon on an incredibly lightweight and flexible slim silhouette and comes complete with S/Double branding. Created in the same spirit as Syndicate – to design, progress and evolve an original authentic concept, this project executes the vision and classic taste that S/Double and Syndicate stand for.

We are getting very close to the first release of S/Double, Shawn Stussy’s new footwear brand. Just the other day we showed you the S/Double x Vans Syndicate line-up and several previews over the last couple of months.

Here we get a look now at the White Buck, the first and final colorway to come from S/Double later this summer. A preppy, yet casual shoe that is easy to wear. It features a premium white leather upper, white stitching and a Vibram outer sole.

Here comes an interesting collaboration from Vans Syndicate and S/Double, the new shoe brand by none other than Shawn Stussy. Together they worked on the Sk8 Lo in two colorways. Both versions come in dark blue, featuring a mix of canvas and leather on the upper. S/Double logo details come in an accented red, matching the red lining, which features further details. We like the shoes a lot, but have to admit that we are not sure why the not yet launched S/Double shoe brand would collaborate with another shoe brand.

The Vans Syndicate x S/Double Sk8 Lo’s are now available at Univ.

The second shoe in the S/Double Service Shoe range is called the Stadium Shoe, and is inspired by college life. Coming in brown leather, the shoes feature contrasting white stitching and a Vibram sole. S/Double has so far shown a very solid range of footwear and we are already excited to see the entire first collection. The S/Double Stadium Shoe is expected to release some time in June. Today we can give you a first look at the first shoe to come out from S/Double, the new label by Shawn Stussy. The underlying idea behind S/Double is to create footwear that can be interpreted in many ways and we think they definitely achieved that with this style. It is simple, classic, yet features some nicely hidden features, such as the contrasting white stitching and the high quality Vibram outer sole.

Shawn Stussy gives us a first look at the Workboot from his upcoming footwear collection under the name S/Double.

“I have built a hybrid workboot vibe on my sneaker platform… Thick, quality leather with familiar workboot signals done up in two colorways… The spirit of this project was when you wanted something a little more substantial than your sneakers, but not all the way up to your Redwings, this will fit the bill… The S/Double Workboot is fully leather lined all the way to the toe…”

S/Double will be releasing first product in May. We will of course keep you posted!

Ever since first rumors and images of the upcoming S/Double footwear collection by Shawn Stussy surface, with much anticipation we are all waiting for the official launch of the brand. After being out of the business for 12 years, after selling Stussy, we cannot wait to see what the man has cooked up.
