Sebago has partnered with two authentic American brands, Filson and Woolrich, for Fall/Winter 2012. Together, the three brands offer a collection of high-quality, well-crafted and good-looking boots. Mid and higher cut styles in a mix of premium leather, Filson canvas and Woolrich wool. Look for these at select Sebago accounts this fall.

Vane and Sebago keep their partnership moving forward with the release of 3 new boots military inspired boots. For this drop, the two went with 3 different styles: a Jungle Tactic boot made of premium leather and suede detailngs; an Orbital Command boot with a moc toe; and the Camo Exo boot featuring a digital camo print on the side panels. The boots are limited to 150 pairsand they’re available at the Vane web shop.

Ronnie Fieg continues to release one collaborative shoe after the other. At times it is hard to keep up. As usual he keeps things very solid and presents this week the new Ronnie Fieg Sebago ‘Kings Point’ Boot. The high rise boot comes in burgundy and black leather options, a goodyear welted Vibram mini lug outsole, leather midsoles, double padded leather collar, a padded leather tongue, leather laces and features a removable tassel piece. For the more eccentric among you with the tassels, for the rest, without we would say. Either way, easy to wear and match boots. A release at Kith NYC stores is scheduled for December 22nd, 11am EST and on RonnieFieg.com.

Ronnie Fieg continues to work with Sebago and presents as part of their Fall/Winter 2011 the ‘Iroquois’ Boot. The mid top boot comes in brown suede and black leather versions, featuring a leather lining, detachable fringe collar and Vibram outer sole. Each shoe comes limited to 96 pairs and will be released November 25th, 2011, at Kith Brooklyn, Kith NYC and RonnieFieg.com.

From the latest Ronnie Fieg for Sebago Fall/Winter 2011 Collection we present the whip stitch Seneca boots. The boots come in two Horween leather versions this season, including nice whip stitch details on the toe box, matching leather laces and a leather detail on the bottom of the outer sole. Limited to 360 pairs per color and priced at $150, both colors will be available this Friday, October 28th at 11 am est. exclusively at the Kith Brooklyn location and on ronniefieg.com.

Filson has teamed up with premium footwear brand Sebago to release a collection of co-branded footwear, apparel and luggage for Fall/Winter 2011. Combining both brands’ legacies of quality craftsmanship, the collaboration, marries Filson’s signature fabrics and silhouettes with Sebago’s premium leathers and is available now at select retail stores, online at www.filson.com and www.sebago.com and through Filson’s catalog.

Two years ago the Cool Cats produced 75 pairs of Sebago Docksides in homage to their beloved city of Paris. Today, they’re bringing them back, in a premium matte waxed suede (where the first one featured shiny leather.) Footwear designer Mdot Booji is really much more than just that. She’s an all around smart and creative business woman who is about to be re-introduced to the fashion world with her upcoming Sebago collaboration for Fall/Winter 2011.

After working with major brands behind the scenes for years, and even launching her own brand, Mdot’s biggest collaboration to date will soon be released. That’s why we jumped at the opportunity to meet up with the San Francisco based entrepreneur to talk about her inspirations for the collection, how it all came about and of course her background.

Mdot, would you please describe yourself in one sentence.
I care a lot about my family, friends and enjoy spending my days perfecting my craft.

What is your professional background?
I’ve always had plans to design and build furniture. Did the whole specialized I-D school. In the end, took a leap of faith & landed in the shoe world with no clue about how this industry works or even making shoes. I was fortunate to work behind the scenes, in the production side of the business as well as my focus on sales/marketing. So learning every corner of the business and the designing came years later. Having positions in development, operations, sales and design all lead to me co-managing and art directing for an independent sneaker brand, JB Classics. Following that, I decided to bring to market my own brand/label.
