As we enter the new year, Selectism has compiled a nice list of favorite songs/music acts that friends and industry insiders have listened to most in the last 12 months. “The focus was not on compiling a best music poll for 2011, but more to get a sense of the diverse musical interests of those in the community. This past week Paris Fashion Week came to an end and we see lots of new Holiday 2011 collection releases. Some bigger holidays are coming up in the following weeks and you can be sure that a series of brands will have special stuff cooked up for the occasions, so as usual there is lots of look forward to.

The presentation of the new iPhone 4S was of course a big deal, overshadowed with the passing of former Apple founder and CEO Steve Jobs.

With Paris Fashion Week there was lots going on this week. The biggest event was for sure Kanye West’s first fashion show, where he showcased on Saturday his women’s collection on the catwalk.
