Some of our favorite shoes out of the Vans Vault Fall 2008 collection were released today – the Cup LX Series. Part of the series of the Chukka Boot Cup LX and the Authentic Cup LX. Both come in light and dark brown. Not only did Vans give thepack high quality nubuck leathers for the uppers, they also added tartan check patterns on the lining and most importantly gave the series cup soles to increasecomfort and style.
The outcome is a rock solid pack by Vans, that can almost compete with the likes of Common Projects.
The Vans Vault Fall 2008 Cup LX Series is now available at Caliroots.

Sozyone aka Sozyone Gonzalez aka Sozyone Million or just Pablo Gonzalez is a painter, sculptor, photographer, graffiti artist and musician. For 2008 he has illustrated the Carhartt advertising campaigns.

Born in Brussels and influenced by his neighborhood, his artwork works around the world of villains, forgers, gangsters and crooks. For him they are the last heroes of modern society, the last survivors who stay with the old school ideals. Also the two advertising campaigns for Carhartt work around this world.

For Carhartt, Sozyone has exclusively designed three T-shirts that are only available at Carhartt stores across Europe. The MONKEY, the BIRD and the TIGER – all three T-shirt designs come with Sozyone’s signature on the left sleeve and a unique Carhartt logo on the back.

Stussy and Hectic are no strangers to each other, collaborating on a regular basis with New Balance and on other product as well. Today we present you the new "De La Stu" series that the two brands have cooked up. 
The Stussy x Hectic "De La Stu" series consists of a pair of denim shorts and matching t-shirt. Both feature a colorful flower pattern and Stussy logo.
The series will be released in Japan on August 15th.

The other day Selectism reported about the new Dr. Martens "7 Eyelet Boot" to becoming out soon. There is more to come from the UK boot maker.
"Dr. Martens have created a boot that defines comfort but is practical, hard-wearing and a design classic. Decades have come and gone, brands have exploded and imploded, but the 1460 boot is still there, unique, individual, original. They are anti-fashion defined in 8 holes.

Coup De Grace, "the blow of mercy", introduces their Skateboard Series for Fall 2008. Coup De Grace has re-introduced several of their recognizable pop-culture graphics on the skateboards, including: Service, Sincere, Unsolved Mysteries and the CDG logo. All skateboards feature durable 7-ply hardrock maple and are manufactured in the USA. These are made in limited quantities, so get yours soon.

Takashi Murakami must be one of the most famous Japanese artists to date. Both in the art world and in the commercial world, with collaborations on high levels, the artist has made a name for himself.
With his latest print series "My First Art" the artist presents a series of prints from early works – works that he became famous and known for.

Hanon just got in the Trilogy Tape artist series t-shirts. They worked with a very strong line-up of artists including Ben Drury, Will Bankhead, Fergadelic and John Olson from the Wolf Eyes. Each t-shirt comes with a graphic that will only be used this one time and is limited to overall 30 pieces.

Chicago’s Leaders 1354 are releasing the latest pieces in a string of solid special editions on June 14th. So far they’ve impressed with their New Eras, and now they move to tees. For the artist series they’ve worked with four local (read Chicago) artists and printed their designs on two colors per artist. So, by match, that’s 4 new styles and 8 color choices. The material ranges from the classic hot girl with covered breasts to a great play on the winners medal. The latter should be a good look come Olympics time. Take a look at the Leaders site in the coming days for bios and info about each represented artist.

Manik surprises with another interesting collaboration and worked with comic artist Pete Bagge. The series consists of t-shirts and skateboard decks. These are available now at Divisioneast.

For his exhibition at Colette, "Do you think about me as much I think about you", that we reported about earlier, artist Eric Elms has created a series of t-shirts. The t-shirts come in white, all featuring black washed out prints, two also coming with photo prints. Overall the t-shirt series consists of 4 t-shirts.
All 4 are now available at Sold Out, along with the tote bag that Silly Thing from Hong Kong created especially for the exhibition. T-Shirts go for 45 Euros and the tote bag for 80 Euros.
