After the Postman Boots, S/Double is back again and presents today their new Longwing Brogues. Produced by Sanders and Sanders LTD. via Mark McNairy, the shoes come with a black rubber sole and silver eyelets. Obviously this is a nice shoe, but we still do not know what to make of Shawn Stussy’s new S/Double brand. Let’s see what the future holds, for now we remain skeptical.

Reigning Champ presents a first easer image of their upcoming collaboration with Shawn Stussy’s brand S/Double. It looks like we will be seeing a collaborative hoodie, hopefully more. We will of course keep you posted!

Shawn Stussy returns to his roots with a new workshop and a series of S/Double branded surf boards. His words on the project. “This is as virginal as this space is ever going to look… These are the first three boards to be built in the new workshop, the paint area worked out great… I look forward to putting together some thoughtful sleds in the future, stay tuned… This stash will be on view at the sacred craft and asr shows next week, then auctioned off @6pm on saturday evening, come check it out…SS”

The much anticipated first collection of Shawn Stussy’s new brand S/Double has finally released its collection this week. The S/Double Spring/Summer 2010 Collection consists of casual footwear, trainers, caps, t-shirts, shirts, jackets, chinos, denim and more.

We especially like the caps and shoes in the collection, while the clothing is very simple and classic, as well as easy to wear, with most pieces having little branding or only logo branding.

Finally we have a date – the much anticipated S/Double website and online store, fully stocking the first collection of Shawn Stussy’s new brand, will launch on April 12th! Mark your calendars!

Juxtapoz magazine recently visited Shawn Stussy in his studio and talked about his past, as well as his future. Of course they also touched base on S/Double, his new label, which is about to release its first collection. It’s a very good read with lots of inside into Shawn Stussy’s creative process and also his take on his new brand. He notes that brands are out there too much these days and that he wants to find a new business model to give his brand time to grow at a pace that works for him.

After months of waiting and previews coming in, the first official release of Shawn Stussy’s new brand S/Double, has come out – the Stadium Shoe. Inspired by traditional and college life, the shoe comes in black as well as brown leather and is now available at colette.

After recently showing you first images of this exciting get together of Vans Syndicate and Shawn Stussy’s S/Double footwear brand, we can give you another look today. Choosing to upgrade and rework our popular AV Sk8-Low, the timelessly cool low-top features ultra premium leather and ballistic nylon on an incredibly lightweight and flexible slim silhouette and comes complete with S/Double branding. Created in the same spirit as Syndicate – to design, progress and evolve an original authentic concept, this project executes the vision and classic taste that S/Double and Syndicate stand for.

Since the rise of the Internet, the look into the spaces of creative people around the globe, a sort of voyeurism, has become very popular and we totally understand it. It is just interesting to see what environment these creatives work in. Our friend Steven Vogel had the chance to check out the working environment of Shawn Stussy, who has had without a doubt a big hand in the development of our culture.

Shawn Stussy gives us a first look at the Workboot from his upcoming footwear collection under the name S/Double.

“I have built a hybrid workboot vibe on my sneaker platform… Thick, quality leather with familiar workboot signals done up in two colorways… The spirit of this project was when you wanted something a little more substantial than your sneakers, but not all the way up to your Redwings, this will fit the bill… The S/Double Workboot is fully leather lined all the way to the toe…”
