Two new pieces from the Levi’s Fenom Fall/Winter 2009 Collection have been released. The Suede Jacket takes its inspiration from the classic Levi’s Denim Jacket and is made of brown premium suede with the Fenom logo placed in the chest pocket. On the regular shirt they kept it simple. The shirt comes in three colorways and also features the Fenom logo in the chest pocket. Both pieces are now available from e-Levi.

In celebration of the Yankees 2009 season and run through the playoffs, Nike Sportswear’s 21 Mercer store has teamed up with FUTURA and the New York Yankees to release a limited edition World Series Hypercool Mock available exclusively at 21 Mercer in New York. The Mock is priced at $114, the number 114 commemorates how many wins it will take for the Bronx Bombers to win the 2009 World Series. Just like the number Manager Joe Girardi wears on his back in commemoration of what the Yankees goal is this year, there will only be 27 units available for purchase, the number of World Series titles the Yankees will have if they can win it all in 2009.

The next collaborator of Altamont for Holiday 2009 is 10.Deep founder and creative director Scott Sasso. The outcome is a small capsule collection, consisting of a hoodie, shirt, t-shirts, cap and a scarf. The collection fuses the Altamont style with details that we learned to appreciate in the 10.Deep collection.

Taking cues from the namesake Altamont tragedy of 1969, Scott invokes the event and the era through motifs like a raceway checkerboard pattern, a bloody arm, psychedelic imagery and a reference to the infamous event security, or lack thereof. All these elements are incorporated with Scott’s signature 10.Deep attention to detailing and unique patterns to create a completely modern brand mash-up.
