Denim label Edwin worked with ‘old friends’ Folk (and their footwear label Shofolk) on a number of great pieces for the season.

The EF-62 Denim sees Folk take advantage of the Edwin denim archives to create their own regular fitting, straight leg jean from organic, lightweight denim, adding some distinctly ‘Folk’ design features.

On the footwear side, we see Shofolk’s classic Armstrong boot and Alaric shoe incorporate Edwin detailing and branding (Edwin denim heel detail and logo tab) to give a distinctive and original look. Features premium leather and suede uppers with leather lining and waxed cotton laces. Available for purchase from End.

A beautiful new Chukka Boot from UK label Shofolk has landed. The mid-cut “Harry” features a butter soft coffee suede upper with clean suede and leather detailing. Handmade in Portugal these paneled moc-toe boots have a contrasting white rubber sole unit, leather lining and waxed cotton laces. This distinctive Shofolk style is now available at End.

A beautiful new Chukka Boot is coming from UK label Shofolk. The “Armstrong” features butter soft suede all over the upper with nice details all around. Handmade in Portugal these paneled chukka boots have a contrasting brown leather heel strap and tie with waxed laces. It comes in a dark and a light brown version and is now available for purchase at Oki-Ni.

Shofolk is a collection of footwear designed by the same team that creates sister clothing brand, Folk.

Their shared ethos is to create shoes that likeminded people would like to wear and enjoy, shoes that have an attention to detail that gives them and their owner a style of their own. The outcome is an original line-up of solid footwear.

Handmade in Portugal, these are relaxed, easy shoes made from beautiful suede and leathers in a natural palatte of warm tones. Shofolk is in our opinion one of the most interesting exports from Europe at the moment, concerning footwear.

The Alaric is a cross between a trainer and an oxford with a rubber soul and classic style upper. The Kidrobot x Shöfolk edition is constructed from gray suede and features a cobalt blue sole along with artisanal details like an embossed robot head and multi-color, logoed band on the heel. Like all Kidrobot collaborations, this shoe has been produced in a limited edition run; only 100 pairs, retailing for £120 each will be available for purchase.

The Kidrobot x Shöfolk Alaric will be on sale in late November at all Kidrobot stores, Folk’s London location as well as online.

Kidrobot has once again been working on some interesting projects. In terms of footwear we have already seen Nike and Lacoste collaborations. Here comes now a collaboration with UK brand Shofolk. Shofolk has made a name for itself in recent years with quality footwear, produced out of high end materials and always with an artisanal touch.

Kidrobt worked with them on a couple of shoes. We can give you a first look at the grey colorway, which features a suede upper. The Kidrobot Dunny head is embossed on the back and the font logo appears on the back heel.

Oki-ni has gotten in some more Shofolk styles. This time they present a mid cut sneaker and a low-top slip-on. The mid comes in a mix of canvas and leather and is exclusively sold at Oki-Ni. The slip-on also looks nice, coming in premium suede!
Shofolk is definitely a footwear brand to watch. They design innovative styles and manage to give them their very own look in terms of colors and materials.

Similar to principals underlying the design and quality process at such brands as Visvim, UK shoe brand Shofolk also tends to get some of their inspiration from the native world and presents high-quality footwear, different from pretty much everything in the market place.
End has just received the Armstrong Mid and the Alaric Canvas, both being great shoes for the new season, a little more dressy, but not too much. Make sure to check them out!

Shofolk is an interesting UK shoe brand that we have been watching for a while now. For the relaunch of Oki-Ni’s website the two got together to produce two limited edition shoes – the Aralic and the Armstrong. Both come in special colorways for Oki-Ni and are limited to 50 pieces each. The upper of the shoes is made of premium suede and the hybrid culture of these, fusing a normal dress shoe and a sneaker, make them easy to wear. Shofolk is definitely a brand to keep an eye on!
