After multiple smaller teasers, we can finally show you the full Head Porter for Silly Thing ‘Traveling Camera Gear’ Collection. Some of you may know that TK of Silly Thing is a big camera enthusiast, as such it comes with no surprise that he worked on this collaboration with Japanese luggage company Head Porter. The product is both functional and well designed, with an overall minimal approach and subtle branding.

The Head Porter for Silly Thing Collection consists of the Traveler’s Backpack, a waist bag, a lense carrier and the tech duffle and now seems to be available from the Think Silly Store in Hong Kong.

As previewed recently, Hong Kong label SILLY THING worked with Head Porter on a collaborative collection that goes on sale this week. The collection includes several function-oriented items including a Mini Duffle that is designed to hold an 11″ Macbook Air and a DSLR camera bag.  The third option is the large backpack, shown previously. Available March 3, 2011.

Not for the first time, Silly Thing crafted a custom logo-printed Goyard item – this time going with a briefcase-like tote bag. To be honest, we would have preferred a cat collar, but we’d take this as well.

We get a first look at an upcoming collaboration between Silly Thing and Japanese designer Mihara Yasuhiro. Together they worked on a leopard print high top sneaker with side zipper. We will keep you posted on the release.

After a first teaser a couple of weeks ago, TK shows off the technical backpack from the upcoming Head Porter for Silly Thing Collection. The line will also include other bags and smaller pouches and cases. Hopefully we can soon show you complete line-up.

We present the new Obscura Magazine Winter 2010 Issue 3. The magazine by the Silly Thing crew visited for the new issue the Alden shoe factory, presents their Style Guide 2011 and a lot more. It looks like it is once again an issue worth picking up!

Following a quick preview the other day, we can share with you today a more detailed look at the N. Hoolywood x Silly Thing Capsule Collection, entitled “Homage To 221B”.

“N. Hoolywood’s Daisuke Obana and SILLY THING’s TK take Sherlock Holmes as their inspiration, to create a collection based on ‘turning 19th Century attire into modern daily wear’. Holmes calls for an English aesthetic, the items include functional jacket in Gun Club check, with poncho-like front. Made in chemical fibers instead of 100% wool, it is a revamp from design to material; a lightweight down waistcoat which makes a great layering item, with vintage-inspired detailing; a digital camera case for the modern day detective, paired with WWI opening detail; loose-fit Inner or below-the-knee socks to be worn with shorts; Holmes’ hat is transformed into a ‘3 Way Beanie’. The title of this collection, Homage to 221B, is made up of Holmes’ house number.”

The collection is now available at N. Hoolywood stores, Isetan’s Mens Store and will also arrive at the Think Silly Store in Hong Kong this weekend.

Japanese brand N. Hoolywood gets together with TK of Silly Thing Hong Kong on a small capsule collection, entitled “Homage To 221B”. Today we can preview some first items from the collection, including a hat, camera pouch, jacket and vest, as well as a shirt.

Silly Bape Thing, the collaboration between Silly Thing and A Bathing Ape, is getting ready to release some exciting new items from their capsule collection. The Foot Soldier Mountain Backpack is a large size technical backpack, coming in black. Furthermore they present the Tyrolean Shoes in light beige suede with thick contrasting stitching and white outer sole.
