Silly Thing worked with Roberu on a camera strap. The Japanese  brand is known for their premium camera accessories. The camera strap comes in a special black colorway as part of the collaboration and will be released soon in the Think Silly Store.

Silly Thing got together with premium camera accessory brand Roberu to work on a collaborative camera strap. The strap seems to be made of faux fur. Hopefully we can soon give you some more detailed images of the camera strap.

Here comes the next collaboration by Ambush on their “POW” ring. This time they worked with Hong Kong’s Silly Thing. TK chose to go with a monochrome grey for the ring. The ring is now available at the Think Silly Store in Hong Kong. Via Milk.

Silly Thing curated a set of Medicom Toy 1000% Kubricks in the semblance of legendary electronic artists Daft Punk. Printed with the Daft Punk logo on their backs, each figure is adorned with the corresponding musicians’ iconic stage gear. The lower leg is marked with the Silly Thing logo and comes packaged in a co-branded Silly Thing and Daft Life Ltd. box. But you knew that. Here’s the big news: they’ll be available October 1st, 2009 at Think Silly Store and at Cool Cats. On October 5th you will see a more general release at select retailers including Joyce, Dover Street Market, Surrender, Contemporary Fix and colette. Retails for approximately $1650 USD.

Today we can give you thanks to Busy P a first look at the actual final toys from both the front- and the backsides. Unfortunately the 1000% Daft Punk Kubricks will only become available in October. We can only advice you to start planning now how to get your hands on a set, it will certainly not be easy.

Sometimes we ask ourselves what takes so long in making a 1000% version of a figure happen, especially when the 100% and 400% versions have already been out in the market place. The other day we gave you an exclusive first look at the Daft Punk x Silly Thing 1000% Kubricks by Medicom. Today we get a detailed look from TK at the heads of the two figures and that makes you understand how much detail and precision work is needed in order to blow up the figures into this new gigantic size properly. The amount of details are very impressive.

After previously working with Medicom on the Beatles 1000% Kubrick Set, Silly Thing has now gotten together with Medicom again and with Daft Punk. Together they created the 1000% Daft Punk Kubrick Set. The set was already a huge hit when releasing in the 400% size, we do not even want to know how quick these will sell out. Finally we get a detailed look at the project that involves Silly Thing, Marvel Studios and Hot Toys. Together they created the Iron Man Mark III “TK” Edition.

Well known American comic establishment Marvel occasionally collaborates with other labels, but it is the very first time that they have authorized an original customized version of its characters. A collector of Iron Man, TK is taking the 1/6 Mark III (as released earlier) as a base for this special edition. The ‘battle damaged’ paint, as suggested by TK, is a rare production. What’s more, this particular paint is not compatible with the original Mark III parts in plastic, therefore all parts must be tailor-made from scratch in the new color way. The construction of Mark III is nothing less than complex, mixing durable ABS plastic with more elastic material. The process is proved to be harder than creating the original Mark III model, in terms of construction and production. The toy will be released on July 4th.

Last week we got a first teaser look at the upcoming Iron Man figure that was designed by TK and his Silly Thing team. Here now via BBC a first full look. The figure got the gun metal treatment on the upper and features a blue lit heart. After the recent project with Medicom on the Beatles, this is yet another interesting project by the Hong Kong crew.

Hong Kong’s Silly Thing got together with colette. They wanted to create a joyful scent and came up with the Marshmallow Flavored Candle. We like the idea and the packaging, how long one can be in a room that smells of marshmallows is a different question though.
