Smart Max magazine is celebrating their 6th anniversary. Since there is a Silly Thing column in the magazine since almost 2 years, the Hong Kong based brand made some special items for the occasion, including a t-shirt and a mesh cap. The goods are available at Silly Thing to the people that can present their Smart Max 6th anniversary issue. Via TK.

After their first toy, a collaboration with Bounty X Hunter, Silly Thing Toy Corp. presents the second one – the Wrestling Elves. The toy design was created by none other but James Jarvis and first appeared on the Chapel Of Dawn Album that Silly Thing released earlier this year. The characters have now been brought to life and will be released in November. As usual Silly Thing wanted to get it 100% right, and created the toys in a way, so they could stand on one foot while holding the other, just like it was created in the artwork! Pic via TK.

Just this week we presented you the Silly Thing x U.N.K.L.E. mesh caps. Along with the mesh caps, also t-shirts will be released and a Mix CD. The t-shirts come in some nice packaging. As usual Silly Thing goes all the way and looks at the smallest detail. The t-shirt featuring the Silly Thing logo surrounded by the iconic Pointman, comes in a special box. The drive to perfection even on something as “simple” as a t-shirt is impressive. Via TK.

Silly Thing made some new Mesh Caps for UNKLE, to promote their new album “War Stories”. The caps come in three colorways – red, purple, black – and have a glitter design on the front. The caps will be released this coming Saturday, September 22nd, at the Silly Thing store in Hong Kong. Via TK.

Silly Thing launches their own toy line under the name Silly Thing Toy Corp. Their first piece is a collaboration with Bounty X Hunter. Based on the “Captain Bounch” character that Bounty X Hunter created originally for a t-shirt 10 years ago, a black version of the toy will be released in Japan at all Bounty X Hunter stores, while this red version is especially made for the Silly Thing store in Hong Kong, celebrating the 10th anniversary of Bounty X Hunter. This is for sure only one of many interesting releases by Bounty X Hunter for this special occasion. Via TK.

The 6th Anniversary celebrations of Hong Kong based magazine Milk continue with a new collaboration. This time they worked with Italian company Toy Watch, that has had huge success with their colorful plastic versions of Rolex Submariners, Daytonas, Panerai watches and more. For Milk Magazine they of course created an all white watch, reminding us of the Chanel ceramic watches in terms of look. They will be released very soon. Pic via TK.

Here you see the final sample of the Silly Thing “Transquad” x New Era cap. They have been working for almost a year now on the cap. To ensure quality the cap was produced in the Czech Republic right where Swarovski is situated. There they had the Swarovski stones placed on the caps by hand.
The drive to perfection by everything Silly Thing touches is really impressive. It can be a t-shirt, a watch or a New Era cap and they will always aim for the best to make their ideas happen. In this mass of New Era releases it is also important to come up with special ideas to stick out. But we don’t even want to know what this one will cost!

Sold Out has once again received new Silly Thing t-shirts – Locked Skull, Fingers and the La Joconde tee. As usual the tees are limited to 100 pieces per design.
They also got in the new collectible toy, 99% Is Shit. Designed by Mark James, it is also limited to 100 pieces worldwide and definitely an instant hit.

TK from Silly Thing gives a first look at a soon to be released 1000% Bearbrick of Silly Thing. It sounds like they will be releasing a series of toys in the near future.

Here you see the latest Silly Thing “Transquad” Mesh Caps. They made this time not only classic white and black ones, they will also release this Saturday a pastel yellow one for the summer season. It is great seeing how Silly Thing manages to do very simple things such as tees, hoodies and mesh caps and at the same time also does difficult cut & sew. That’s very rare – one is more street and some other stuff almost high fashion.
