Visvim G.SKYNYRD RING MOCCASIN

RTEmagicC visvim 1.jpg Visvim G.SKYNYRD RING MOCCASIN
Here you see one of the latest releases out of the Visvim G. Line (US only collection). The Skynyrd Ring Moccasin comes in three colorways -  silver,  black and white. The longtime Visvim fan will probably not appreciate most of the G. Line, due to its louder character. Quality is of course also on this line very good, but the colorways and styles are much more extreme. We also don’t know what to really think about it. Some we enjoy, others not at all. In many cases, it seems like people do want something a bit more special for shoes in this price category and these silver moccasins are definitely special. We are not even sure, if we enjoy the “Gucci like” strap so much?! Well, make up your own mind about these, as we all know, tastes differ. Pics via Conope.
After the jump you can check out the two more subtle colorways of the shoe.

We Are All Vane Pendant by Vane

27 November 2007, 20.44 | Posted in Uncategorized | No comments »

RTEmagicC vane pendant 2.jpg We Are All Vane Pendant by Vane
Vane developed a new version of the “We Are All Vane” Pendant.

“This jewelry piece is def pretty controversial, but fun.  The partner’s in Vane are all different religions, so that got us to thinking about dudes rocking crosses and things like that.  The piece is a combination of three major religion’s symbols: Islam, Christianity, and Judaism.  This piece is def one of our favorites because it describes city life so well – many different ethnicities, religions, cultures, and ideas all living together. Vane def thinks that the world loses sight of the fact that we are all equal and can coexist.”
The pendant comes in three different finishes – gun metal plated, brass plated, and silver plated.  All the pieces are made of pewter.  The pewter pieces sell for $85.  They also created a sterling silver version, which sells for $1200. The piece was carved by hand in silver and then lost cast molded – this gives it a unique feel.  The piece is 100% made in New York like all Vane goods.  The pendant comes on a great 36 inch brass rope chain.
Expect soon a preview of the Vane Fall/Winter ‘07 collection as well. After the jump detailed pictures of all versions of the pendant.

RTEmagicC reebok turquoise.jpg Reebok Turquoise Pack
Reebok is definitely becoming more and more active again. One could have had the impression the brand was sleeping in recent years, but they seemed to have woken up. We have seen strong packs recently such as the Jam Series, Voltron Pack and others.
The most recent one to drop is the Turquoise Pack. It consists of BB5600 and an ERS 2000. The sneakers have a silver/black upper with turquoise/pink accents. Overall a very nice color combination and probably one of the nicest packs to drop by the brand this year. It’s now available at Sold Out.
