Graphic artist/surface designer Aimee Wilder got together with Vans to work on a series of Sk8 Hi’s. The pack consists of overall three Sk8 Hi’s, each featuring a canvas/suede upper with larger graphic prints by the artist. The pack will be released January 2009.

Today we can finally show you a decent image of the upcoming XLarge x Vans Sk8 Hi. It comes with a black/multicolor upper and features a XLarge all-over print. The sneaker comes with laces in every color that is also featured on the upper.

Vans Japan has released the Animal Series. The first animal to be featured is the Leopard. The pack consists of overall four sneakers – Slip-On, Sk8 Hi, V2241, V2191. All sneakers in the pack come in a mix of black leather and faux leopard fur.

Vans presents this season the Caballero Legends Pack. Honoring Steve Caballero, the pack consists of the Half Cab Pro, Sk8 Hi and the Era. All three come in a black, dark red design, with the graphics being influenced by one of Caballero’s most recognized Powell Peralta decks.

First previewed by us a couple of weeks ago, we give you today a detailed look at the Vans Japan Halloween Pack. The pack consists of the Sk8 Hi and the V2041 hi top sneaker. Both come in a classic Halloween orange/black/white colorway. The orange parts of the sneakers come in shiny patent leather, mixed with black suede and white leather. The pumpkin head logo appears on the V2041 on the tongue and on the Sk8 Hi more subtle on a small tag next to the laces.

For the third time Vans gets together with Iron Maiden. This time a Sk8 Hi resulted out of the collaboration, featuring the artwork of the “Powerslave” album, which first came out in 1984. Unlike the other sneakers that previously came from this collaboration, the new Sk8 Hi does not come in black, but navy blue.

The Vans Sk8 Hi x Iron Maiden”Powerslave” sneaker is now availabe at DQM.

Coming in a limited edition for Japan, the Sk8 Hi gets the woven treatment. The sneaker comes in a black/white and gold/white colorway. The fabric used on the Sk8 Hi has been produced by Italian company Bordificio, which is known for their outstanding interweaved materials. They currently work with Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Poltrona Frau and also BMW. Therefore you can be sure that the upper materials are of high quality.

As part of the Vans Sk8 Hi 30th anniversary, Vans Japan is presenting a multitude of interesting styles this Fall/Holiday season. Here we show you the Vans Sk8 Hi “Hiking Edition”. The beige and brown sneakers come with all premium leather uppers and hiking boot lacing. Overall solid sneaker with nice details, without anything too crazy.

Continuing their collaboration series with the most iconic rock bands out there. The latest one to be released is with KISS. They worked on the Sk8 Hi and the outcome is a pair of black sneakers, with each sidepanel featuring the face of a different member of the band.

The KISS x Vans Sk8 Hi is now available in the Vans online store.

Thanks to the latest issue of Shoes Master, we can give you a small preview of the upcoming XLarge x Vans Sk8 Hi. It comes in black suede with a multicolor XLarge all-over pattern on the side panels. At this point we do not know when it will release, but we’ll keep you posted. Via VA.
