We just came across something fantastic. Designer Adam Kimmel chose an unorthodox method to showcase two of his Spring/Summer 2009 suits. He decided to do a downhill skate video. The video is shot by photographer Ari Marcopoulos. Via Men.Style.

Announced a couple of months back, the Puma First Round Skate has now been released. The Puma high top sneaker comes in three colorways and a multitude of special features have been added to the classic in order to make it suitable for skating. The most obvious one is the thicker ankle support.

Dave’s Quality Meat has released some new skatedecks. The decks have a similar design to the recently released DQM x Nike Blazers. But if you want to have DQM spelled out, then you have to buy all three!

Manik is a skateboard brand delivered by the guys behind the Goods store straight out of Seattle. The brand keeps a stylish and clean profile and is sold only through selected shops – Cali Skat Dep. is one of those stores. This is the S.King line with hand sketched boards that feature some segments seen in the Chinatown districts of Seattle. This is a series of five, and if you lay them next to each other you’ll see the full graphic/neighborhood.
Once again a strong art deck series by one of the most premium skate brands on the market.

Once again Adidas Skate drops a model designed by none other than Mark Gonzales. This time he worked on the Gazelle and gave this classic a complete make-over. The outcome is a well balanced beige/brown sneaker with subtle artistic touches. The signature of the artist appears on the side of the sneaker as well as on the tongue tag.

Here a look at the most recently released Shut NY skatedecks for 2008. As usual the brand presents a strong line-up of decks. In this series there also seems to be a Krink collaboration as well as Rostarr collaboration deck. Grab them now, while they are still available!

Resumé is the Cliché 10 Year anniversary book which will be released early spring 2008.

The 148 page hardcover book will recount the history of the brand from 1997 to 2007. It will feature various stories, the making of all the videos, rider interviews, artist collaborations, and the best shots from photographers who have followed the team over the last ten years.
We had presented you the Cliché 10 year anniversary collection, that also consisted of a Nike SB collaboration. The book is a nice way of rounding it up! In stores Spring ‘08.

Here we have some great news, Alphanumeric, the first brand to fuse the skate and urban markets, the market that so many like to call now streetwear, will be coming back in 2008. According to The Hundreds/Mr. Kim the brand will be launching again next year – Class of ‘08.

It will be interesting and exciting to see how the brand will come back and perform in this new market environment. The new website should be up soon!

Adidas Skate made a limited edition of 500 pairs of the pro model Mark Gonzales Superstars and Dennis Busenitz’s Gazelles. The only way to get these is to play the game, get the secret code.
