Once again Supreme got together with Damien Hirst to work on a new series of skateboard decks, this time featuring his more than well known dots graphis. It looks like there are overall 5 different versions of the dot graphic deck, featuring the dots on one side and another graphic on the other side, also including a signature by the artist. Look out for a release in the near future.

Mekanism Skateboards once again impresses, having worked for their second 2009 project with Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson. The artist is well known for his large exhibition structures and most recently for the impressive sun artwork. With Mekanism the artist of course worked on skateboard decks. The “Your Mercury Ocean” decks have a silver reflective upper and for the first time the artist also reworked the upper structure of the board into a 3D structure. The various levels on the board, give the impression of a wave pattern. The artist worked on overall 90 skatedecks, as well as 10 artist proofs and 10 exhibition pieces. Without a doubt this has to be the most impressive project by Mekanism to date.

FTC worked with designer David Horvath, who is also the creator of Ugly Dolls. Together they collaborated on a t-shirt and a matching skateboard. Both pieces come in blue and feature the iconic characters by the artist. The FTC x David Horvath product is now available.

Judging from these images that Andrew Bunney presents from a recent Supreme Japan shoot, you can expect a second run of Damien Hirst x Supreme Skateboard Decks. The decks seem to be coming with the iconic Hirst dot design. Nothing has been confirmed so far, but we will definitely keep you posted.

This June 20th, Concepts and Nike SB will be releasing the Blue Lobster Dunk Low Premium. As we previously mentioned, the first 200 customers will receive 1 of 2 Concepts x Alien Workshop “Blue Lobster” Skate Decks. Now we are able to present the graphics. The first 2 decks, featuring imagery from the Blue Lobster marketing campaign will be given away at the shoe release. The 3rd deck, which ties back to the sneaker itself, will be available for sale in limited numbers. All decks are exclusive to Concepts.

Seattle based skateboard brand Manik continues to present strong capsule collections. This time they present Manik Vegas. As usual the line consists of both skateboard decks and t-shirts, in this case celebrating Sin City.

Seattle’s favorite retailer Goods got together with the Molly Moon store in their neighborhood and have released a skateboard deck and a matching t-shirt. The set is now available at Goods.

New York based artist Darcel got together with Parisian store Colette to collaborate on a skateboard deck. The “No.Yes.” deck makes once and for all the debate over skateboarding vs. inline skating clear and is now available at Colette.

Carhartt will be introducing the “Amicitia” skateboard deck series very soon. Three team riders from the Carhartt team have collaborated with one of their artist friends in designing a skateboard. The result of this cooperation are three different boards, sized and shaped just like the individual team rider prefers them and topped off with a very personal artwork. Every board comes with a 40-page booklet containing the biography of both teh artist and the riders, including pictures, poems and of course more artwork.

As part of the series Scott Bourne worked with Jeremy Fish, Jan Kliewer with Stefan Marx and Daniel Hakansson with Stefan Narancic.

After an initial preview a couple of weeks ago we can give you a more detailed look at the latest skateboard decks by fragment Design and T-19. The decks come in two colorways – blue/blue and blue/white. Both decks feature the star all-over print that we have already seen on previous collaborations between the two brands. The fragment Design Skateboard Decks by T-19 are now available in the honeyee.store.
