As part of Riviera’s Design Series Casa Surf Project, Eve Lowey of Studio Chameleon joined forces with former world champion skateboarder and owner of etnies Pierre Andre Senizergues on a signature Skate Room. Hailing back to its roots in skateboarding and all that encompasses the culture, the movement, curves and shapes in the design of the room reflect the passion of etnies.

Highlights include the Chicken’s bowl sink, shoe scrap headboard, reversed shadow box wheel mirror, skate free mini bar, “Graffiti Malibu” art piece and an original art creation by Mike Manzoori titled “It’s Not Where You’re Going, It’s How You Get There.” The room also offers an eco twist on design, reviving discarded items and ultimately spreading a message of lightening your eco impact, one footprint at a time.

The ocean view hotel room is located in Laguna Beach, California in Casa Del Camino Hotel, and will open to rent starting this weekend. And that’s not all. For the first year of room rentals, La Casa Del Camino Hotel is giving a portion of the room rate to etnies charity of choice: Global Green, USA. Go PAS!

A classic Spitfire design is resurrected for FTC skate shop. The pocket tee boasts both logos in gold on the front with the retro Spitfire swirl across the back. A 54mm wheel is adorned with the “FOR THE CITY WORLDWIDE” tag, alongside both logos. Now available at FTC.

November hasn’t even fully arrived yet and certain spots are already on the gun for December. First drops we have confirmed are a black on black Stefan Janoski, a black and white Classic SB High, and a clean midnight fog Bruin SB. Nice dark shades to fit the climate. Palace Skateboards is a new London based brand who’s aim is to produce well-designed skate goods. To celebrate their launch, Slam City Skates and the local PWBC skate gang have teamed up to create a limited first series of boards with imagery revolving heavily around the triangle. With pro skater Olly Todd on the team, and designs by artists such as Fergadelic and Will Bankhead, Palace is certainly one to watch. Now in at The Hideout.

The latest release from adidas Skateboarding has begun to hit finer skate shops around the globe. The highlight for us is the second colorway of the Copa Mundial-inspired Busenitz pro model – in brown suede with a grippy gum rubber outsole. A black/white/blue Campus Vulc and a grey Ciero complete the drop. Now available at Atlas.

Flatspot is now taking pre-orders on a Campus Vulc High inspired by the recent adidas skate video Diagonal. “Limited to a select number of pairs worldwide, this premium edition Campus Vulc Hi designed by Matt Irving of Delphi features a rich suede upper, grippy gum rubber outsole, unique canvas heal panel with design elements from Diagonal, matching sockliner artwork and two sets of laces.”

The adidas Campus Vulc High “Diagonal” officially releases the first week of October 2009.

Three months after the release of Nike SB’s HD am-video Debacle, Jason Hernandez resurfaces with this five minute bonus section featuring Justin Brock, Daryl Angel, Grant Taylor, Theotis Beasley, and Shane O’Neill. Enjoy!

After much speculation, it’s finally official. World renowned skater Eric Koston is now a member of the Nike Skateboarding team.

Eric had this to say:  “Not only am I psyched to be a part of the great group of guys that makes up the Nike SB team, but I’m equally as excited to work with them creatively. I’m sure many people know that a lot of different Nike’s have been the inspiration for my shoe designs over the last 12 years, so I feel like a fucking kid in a candy store when it comes to this partnership between Nike and I.”

Safe to say, we’re extremely excited to see what comes of this. Nike SB has already released an Eric Koston signature t-shirt in an LA Lakers colorway. Have a look after the jump.
