London’s Slam City Skates is celebrating its 25th anniversary and with that presents an apparel collection and video lookbook. Next to some in-house apparel, Slam City collaborated with Fergus, Silas and James Jarvis on a couple of pieces. Furthermore they present the ‘City Rats’ trailer, a skate film officially releasing December 2011, featuring many skaters from the Slam City team. With Silas making its way back into the European market this season, the brand which is now based in Japan, has collaborated with London’s Slam City Skates on a small capsule collection.

The collection consists of beanies, two t-shirts, a jacket and a waist bag. All pieces feature double branding and come in several colorways. Look out for a release soon at Slam City Skates in London.

After setting up shop in Slam’s Covent Garden store basement earlier this year, Emerica once again teamed up with Slam, along with their friend and illustrator Arran Gregory, to produce an exclusive collaboration version of the Laced shoe.

Featuring Arran’s distinctive custom artwork on the insole and box art, and the Slam ‘rat signal’ logo on the tongue in homage to the London skate scene, the shoe is a classic make up with a black suede toe piece and canvas upper. The sneaker is available exclusively at Slam City Skates stores and in their online store. Also make sure to check out the video here below, featuring Arran Gregory and Emerica UK rider Tom Knox.

UK retailer Slam City Skates is turning 25 years old next year, so they have some really good things in the pipeline. Just released is the Summer 10 lookbook featuring work from both Mark Ward and Ed Templeton as well as the upcoming Slam City Skates x Emerica shoe, a collaboration within the current Emerica and Altamont concept basement store.

Emerica and Altamont today open a concept store in the basement of iconic London based skate shop Slam City Skates. From the press release: “You can now check out the largest selection of Emerica and Altamont products available under one roof in Europe. And if you’re tired from strolling around in London for a day, you can always have a rest on the Victorian chaise lounge in the basement. Just sit back, watch and get inspired by the Emerica and Altamont team riders that you see skateboarding on the big plasma screen.” To coincide with the grand opening (Saturday, March 20th) there will be promos and giveaways throughout the day.

London’s premier skate shop, Slam City Skates, has released a new set of New Era caps. They present a felted cap, a quilted nylon cap and a classic snap-back cap. The quilted cap is inspired by the famous Barbour jacket and also features a corduroy brim. The caps come with premium linings and subtle branding, with all three featuring a simple 3D embroidered “S” on the front panels.
