Italian retailer SlamJam presents ‘Porta,’ a Holiday 2011 lookbook featuring garments from many of our favorite brands. Today we bring you a recap of the ‘Protagonist’ exhibition by artist Craig Redman, best known for his Darcel character, at SlamJam Milan. The artist presented a series of portraits in his usual colorful modern graphical style. On show were some prominent faces, including Kanye West, Woody Allen, the Pope, Terry Richardson, Lady Gaga, Takashi Murakami, LeBron James and others.

We previewed the collaboration between SlamJam and Asics already a while ago, during the Family & Friends Exhibition in Berlin. Today we can show you some more images of the collaborative sneaker and also show you a video with SlamJam’s Matteo Teruzzi, who is giving us some background information on the project.

Yesterday we gave you a first exclusive look at the Asics x SlamJam “5th Dimension” Gel Lyte 3. Here is now the video that they produced for the launch.

Asics set up a beautiful showroom on Torstrasse in Berlin for the week, where they are showcasing special product and collaborations. Here we take a look at their upcoming Gel Lyte 3 with Italian store SlamJam. The logo of the store is printed on the heel, while the upper features several premium materials and colors.

Last night Stussy celebrated their 30th anniversary in Paris. The evening started on a rooftop in the heart of the Pigalle district of the city with a nice barbecue. The party was organized by Pigalle, SlamJam and colette. People from all over the globe were in place, with most of the support coming from Amsterdam, LA, New York, Berlin and of course Paris. A 360 degree view of Paris only made the night more special. All in all a great setup and fun event, which continued in a club with SlamJam, Pigalle and the Patta crew spinning.

Stussy pulls the covers off an extremely impressive roster of collaborators in the second group of their XXX T-Shirt Collection. Streetwear heavy weights Bounty Hunter, Neighborhood, Supreme and P.A.M. join artist Claw and top notch European retailers The Hideout and SlamJam over an excellent series of graphics.

The second drop of the adidas Consortium City Series is about to be released. Once again adidas worked with prominent retail partners to give the sneaker of each respective city a new look, usually heavily inspired by the original. In this release they worked with DWM on the New York, with Sneakersnstuff on the Stockholm, with Norse Projects on the Copenhagen and with SlamJam on the Milano.

Undercover is certainly active in Italy these days. This morning we showed you pictures from the Undercover Spring/Summer 2010 Collection Show that took place at Pitti Uomo for the first time. Furthermore the collection will be available at the SlamJam Temporary Studio in Milan from June 21rst until June 23rd.

After recently working with Neighborhood on a small capsule collection, SlamJam now got together with Gallery 1950 to work on some chopsticks. The collaborative chopsticks feature double branding and a grip and come in both black and white.
