After the Iron Maiden collaboration, Vans has now chosen another long time supporter of their brand, Johnny Ramone.
The collection includes two t-shirts, one with a classic concert shot while the other is emblazoned with The Ramone’s presidential seal, and a Johnny Ramone stone washed grey super skinny jean. To round off this capsule collection is the Classic Slip-On that showcases more of this legendary musicians imagery and signature. Via DigBMX.

Vans is known for repeating prints, the check print being their most famous one. Now they present a cute monkey all-over print, showing a monkey pushing a skateboard. The print comes in several colorways on the slip-on and the Authentic. Via Sneaker Freaker.

After Marc Jacobs, Vans now seems to have gotten together with high fashion designer Paul Smith. The pack consists of a Sk8 Hi and a Chukka. The Sk8 Hi comes with an upper made up of brown suede and canvas. The Chukka comes in all grey canvas. Both sneakers feature the signature multicolor stripe pattern of the design as the inner lining and on the back heel and tongue tags. Apparently there will also be an Era and a slip-on in the pack.

Paul Smith is after Marc Jacobs definitely a good fit, because even though they are both high fashion designers they always mix in collaborations and pieces in general which are less expensive then their regular lines. Pics via Footurama.

Here we present you the upcoming releases of Japanese sneaker brand MadFoot! This month the brand will be releasing two slip-ons. Both feature a camouflage pattern on the upper – one comes with a desert camo and the other one with a tiger camo pattern. Other than that they release the Mad Daaam. The Mad Daaam comes with a perforated upper in patent leather, but with very large holes. It comes in a black and a white colorway.

Converse Japan recently released some interesting new shoes. They just dropped the Jack Purcell Fake-Lace Slip-On and the Chuck Taylor AS Layer Hi.
The Chuck Taylor AS Layer Hi basically combines the Chuck Taylor lo with the Chuck Taylor Hi. It is constructed like the Chuck Taylor Lo, but then there is a contrasting white part around the ankles. It comes in two colorways.
Another interesting addition is the Jack Purcell Fake-Lace Slip-On. It looks exactly like a Jack Purcell also with the iconic outer sole and the toe cap, but the laces are only printed onto the upper and in reality it is a slip-on. This one also comes in two colorways.

A while ago we presented the Vans Vault Fall 2007 collection and thought we had seen it all. They added two more packs to the collection, that you should also see soon at a Vault retailer close to you.
The Pure Life Pack consists of two Sk8 Hi’s and three Slip-Ons. All sneakers feature a “Pure Life” graphic and the pack comes in black, brown/khaki and white colors. The other pack is the Kvadrat Pack, which consists of two Chukkas, two Slip-Ons and two Prison Issues. The uppers of all sneakers are woven and thus the look is overall premium, but simple.

Here some new things coming out of the Pro-Keds camp. They present the Metro Slip-On Signature Canvas, which comes in a white upper with gold accents. The Dura Cool Mesh reminds of a more classic sailing shoe and comes in a navy blue colorway with red and white accents. The most exciting in this series of releases is probably the Royal Hi Graf. It features an all-over classic graffit design and comes in two colorways – black and white.
