Last month we previewed the Burton x Star Wars Snowboard Collection, featuring some of your favorite characters from the iconic film series. Today we get a further look at the line and come across the R2-D2 helmet. Instant classic and certainly a nice accessory to have on the slope to make some heads turn.

RockOn Snowboarding presents their latest snowboard film, entitled ‘Propaganda’. The full movie released this last week. Filmed by Jakob Preischl and Lukas Tielke, directed by Lukas Tielke and Philipp Ramhofer, you get a full 17 minutes of snowboard action, getting you in the right mood for the winter that is just around the corner.

With a flash snowstorm hitting NYC over the weekend, and true snowboard season about a month away, we thought it fair time to share some of our hard goods picks for the season. After having previewed already most of the Bape x mastermind JAPAN Capsule Collection, we take a look today at an exciting addition to the product line.

If you want to look extra slick this season on the slopes, you can get the A Bathing Ape x mastermind JAPAN Gore-Tex Snowboard Jacket and matching pants. The two pieces come in each two camouflage colorways, with the mastermind JAPAN skull and bones logo mixed into the pattern. The jacket and pants will release October 19th at Isetan Shinuku.

Snowboard season is just around the corner. Nike Snowboarding pays tribute to one of their iconic campaigns with snowboarder Danny Kass with the above ‘Danny Don’t Know’ video.

Danny Kass tried his hand at baseball, football, basketball and hockey in this Nike Snowboarding tribute to the iconic Nike Bo Know’s campaign. Snowboarder Magazine editor Pat Bridges makes a cameo and narrates as Danny fails to succeed at just about everything. Luckily, Danny Knows Snowboarding.

Previewed here months ago, this season will see the official release of the collaboration between Burton and Red Wing. The limited edition Rover snowboard boots come this season, treated with the original Red Wing look. Both leather, color, stitching details and other design elements have been inspired by the classic 6-inch Moc of Red Wing.

The release of the Red Bull sponsored snowboarding film ‘The Art Of Flight’ is getting closer. A couple of days ago they have released the second trailer of the film – The Metal Trailer. The world premiere of the film takes place in New York City on September 7th, 2011. (FnG)
