Berlin based boutique Solebox has collaborated with adidas on the performance running shoe Asizero Aegis 2. The lightweight running sneaker is part of the “Then & Now” pack, and represents the “Now” part, with the “Then” part to be released in January 2011. The sneaker is limited to 100 units and will drop on October 16th.

This fall adidas will relaunch their famous EQT running shoe. As a kickoff to the sneaker’s return, Berlin’s Solebox worked on some exclusive make ups that are previewed on the cover of Sneaker Freaker 19 (available for pre-order here). Representing the “THEN” side of things, these EQTs clock in as half of Solebox’s forthcoming “NOW & THEN” pack. Stay tuned for a closer look.

Solebox gives us a first preview of their upcoming project with Reebok. The solebox x Reebok Omni Zone Pump comes in a black premium leather version with white side-panels, which reveal themselves as light-panels. Other accents on the sneaker are set in red. Much like their Pump for the 20th anniversary, the Berlin boutique once again worked with innovative light technology on this sneaker.

In an interesting collaboration Berlin based sneaker store Solebox has gotten together with watch brand Sinn on the U2 diver’s model.

“The diving watch U2 is a professional mission timer which uses genuine German submarine steel, a material with extreme seawater resistance and the highest level of non-magnetic properties. In the movement itself, functional reliability between -45 °C and +80 °C is ensured by the SINN special oil 66-228. And that´s not all: with the diver´s bezel tempered to 1500 Vickers, this diving watch is well-equipped to measure the duration of a dive accurately.

Fogging of the dial poses a safety risk when diving. To prevent this, we use seals made of Viton®. This material, with its extreme chemical resistance and only a quarter of the gas permeability of conventional seals, prevents moisture from diffusing into the diving watch. The slightly domed, 4.2 mm thick scratch-proof anti-reflective sapphire crystal glass with a hardness von 1800 HV withstands even the highest pressures. The case is filled with a protective gas, while three drying capsules keep the interior dry.”

The watch is packed with functionality and will come with a silicone strap, as well as an olive Zulu canvas strap. Today we had the chance to check it out live at the store and it came out beautiful. We especially like the orange accents on the bezel, which set a nice highlight on the otherwise black watch. Only 10 watches will be offered to the public, and they will retail for 2950 Euro. The release is set for July 17th.

Today we get a first look at an interesting new project by Berlin sneaker boutique Solebox. This time they worked with German watch maker Sinn on their U2 diver watch. The watch comes with a black case, black rubber bracelet and black dial, featuring a subtle Solebox logo and a few orange accents on the dial and the bezel. Hopefully we can soon tell you more about the project.

As we’ve seen, Berlin-based Solebox worked with Saucony on a two part pack that combines both old school and new school elements. Technical, lightweight and comfy, the modern Type A3 is made up in a black and salmon colorway, while the more traditional Shadow 90 revamps the Shadow 6000 with the 5000 sole unit from back in the day, again in black and salmon. These will be available March 20th at Solebox. Limited to 100 pairs of the Shadow 90, and 40 pairs of the Type A3.

After an initial preview, we can give you here a detailed look at the upcoming Solebox x Lacoste collaboration, their second one. This time Solebox worked on a sporty boot, the 10789, named after the postal code of their Berlin store.

“With premium waxy leather, a reflective 3M underlay, metal mesh side panels, a D-ring lacing system and of course, the neoprene sock for form and function, the 10789 model (named after Solebox’s Berlin postcode) launches late January.”

The boot comes in two colorways, each limited to 30 pairs and will release late January.

Berlin-based sneaker retailer Solebox, previews their forthcoming 10789 Boots done in collaboration with Lacoste. Named after the shop’s zip code, the handmade, moc-toe style is constructed of premium materials and features a neoprene inshoe. Drops in two colorways – black/teal and brown/blue – for late January 2010.

Solebox has gotten together once again with Saucony and presents this time around the Oldskool vs Newskool Pack. The pack consists of the classic Shadow 90 and its modern equivilant, the A3 running model. In terms of colors, Solebox used black and salmon on both sneakers. Following North America and Europe, we now have a look at Europe’s offerings for the Reebok Pump 20th Anniversary campaign. Reebok worked with 24 Kilates, colette, Hanon, Patta (pictured), Size?, Solebox and SNS on exclusive Pumps. 31 pairs of each will be available this weekend.
