Concepts and Sorel have joined forces for the third year in a row, this time to present to Kitchner High for men alongside the Liftline LTR for women. While retaining seam-sealed waterproof construction, Concepts also created a custom fair isle print on both uppers. The collection combines refined and rugged style inherent to Sorel with precise curation from Concepts. The result is a refreshing and sophisticated collection of boots as at home in a winter storm as they are in more sartorial setting – perfect for the discerning urban explorer. The boots will be available Friday October 14th, at Concepts and Colette.

Yeah, it is that time of the year again. You actually have to start looking into some more serious boots to get you through the winter months. One boot to check out is the 1964 Premium Boot from Sorel. Featuring insulated and waterproof canvas or leather on the upper, the bottom is styled like a classic rubber duck boot. Gunmetal eyelets, waxed laces and stitching details add to the appeal of the boots. Ssense has them in stock now.

We present yet another collaboration between Concepts and Sorel for Fall/Winter 2010. For men they present the Sentry Chukka, a mid top sneaker coming with a wool upper, leather details, red accents and of course the signature rubber toe box by Sorel. These are now available from Concepts.

In time for snow season, Ronnie Fieg linked up with Sorel to work on their classic Caribou boots. Presented is a special charcoal colorway of the fur lined boot, looking really clean. Limited to 240 pairs, the boots will be released December 10th at David Z. in store and online.

Once again Sorel gets together with Boston retailer Concepts to collaborate on new men’s and women’s boots for Winter 2010.

“Concepts has partnered with Sorel for the second year in a row with the intention of finding the sweet spot at the intersection of designing for fashion and creating for purpose. We are offering 2 models, the Men’s 1964 Premium and the Women’s Tivoli— both styled in charcoal wool, red high lights and replacing Sorel’s traditional rubber toe with rich leather.”

The Sorel for Concepts boots will be released Black Friday, November 26th, at Concepts Boston.

Canadian boot label Sorel updates their 1964 winter classic in heritage colors and waxed canvas for FW10. “Seam-sealed, completely waterproof, and incredibly warm, the canvas upper and handcrafted rubber shell are lined with a 9mm recycled felt InnerBoot for a temperature rating down to -40° below zero.” Now available at select Sorel accounts.

With Autumn comes colette’s new “We Love Canada” campaign. Highlighting the occasion is pair of Sorel Caribou Boots in rich full-grain silky leather, with a removable liner and waterproof shell. The boots are topped with stitching in “colette” blue, alongside the shop’s namesake on the tongue. Coming soon.

Canadian brand Sorel takes on summer with a series of canvas boots. Working with their classic Caribou shape, the above boot is stripped down and lightened up for the warmer weather. Further styles remove the toe stitching and reinforced eye-stays in favor of a more streamlined look.

Boot maker Sorel gets together with Parisian concept store colette to collaborate on their classic boot. The boot comes in a solid dark brown leather colorway, features a matching brown fur lining and features the iconic colette blue on the contrasting stitching and the lacing. The colette logo appears on a leather tag on the tongue. Look out for a release this coming Winter season.

Winter boots are probably the last thing on your mind at this time of year. Regardless, Sorel has two nice Limited Edition boots coming out for FW10. First up is a bison leather Caribou Reserve boot with two liners – one with a faux-fur snow cuff, and one with felt that can be used as a slipper indoors. The second model is a Caribou made of real stingray leather, with the “stingray eye” on the inner left boot. Something to consider.
