Familiar styles return in new colors and materials (check the cork above!) alongside laceless slip-on boat shoes in reptile prints and more. Lots of new styles from the Band of Outsider for Sperry Topsider Spring/Summer 2010 Collection have been released and among them some of our favorites. The Original 3-Eye comes in a series of new materials and colorways. The pink one and the jersey style are our personal favorites of the line-up, with the jersey one also coming in the form of a Chukka boot. The small twists that Band of Outsider adds to Sperry all time classics is just what the brand needs.

Another pack from the Band of Outsider for Sperry Topsider Spring/Summer 2010 Collection has been released. This time the 3-Eye Boet Shoe and the Chukka come with a grey/black checker upper and contrasting lining. The boat shoe comes with black leather laces and the Chukka with white leather laces. Both are now available from colette.

We continue to preview the latest collaborative collection between Band of Outsiders and Sperry Topsider. After the preview of last week, we show you today two more deck shoes from the collection, one coming in green and black, both featuring uppers made of suede and nylon. As usual Band of Outsiders applied some unusual materials to these all time classics and adds their flavor to it, with further details on the lacing and lining. The deck shoes are now available fom Tres Bien.

While the brand has gained popularity in recent years mainly on the back of good collaborations and an overall trend towards deck shoes, they are finally also introducing some interesting new materials and looks in their own in-house collection. Heritage brand Sperry Topsider celebrates Spring 2010 their 75th anniversary. For the occasion they are releasing three of their most classic shoes as part of a special collection. The Striper Slip-Ons, CVO Sneaker and Seamate Sneakers each come in two colorways with a vintage effect. These footwear styles have been around since the 1950’s and are still today up to date. The 75th anniversary collection is now available from J.Crew.

Finally we get a complete look at the new Band of Outsiders for Sperry Topsider Fall/Winter 2009 Footwear. Next to mid boat shoes, Chukkas, regular boat shoes and loafers, the most interesting new releases in the collection are probably the Rubber Boat Shoes. These come with a painted Trompe L’oeil, basically faking the look of a regular boat with graphics on an otherwise seamless upper. They present several colorways of this special release. The Chukka comes in both suede and premium leathers with nice striped canvas linings. Also really nice are the flannel boat shoes in the line-up, perfectly bringing the style into the colder months of the year.
