Last night Spike Lee presented US President Barack Obama with a pair of Jordan Spiz’ikes. The shoes, a pair of Spiz’ike ‘Boredeaux (out February 2012) came packaged in a custom brown wood box emblazoned with the presidential seal. Do you think we’ll see Barack wearing these?

After Terry Richardson, Uncle York presents their newest toy – the Spiketoy. Of course it is none other than Spike Lee, the iconic American flim director, producer, writer and actor. The Spiketoy comes in black/white and in color. Iconic details include the ‘MARS’ necklace, the cap and of course the Jordans. Today Spike Lee published an image, previewing two interesting new colorways of the Jordan Spizikes. It looks like Michael Jordan has gifted Spike Lee with two pairs of NY Knicks colored Spiz’ikes, as a tribute to their strongest season in some time. As many of you will already know, the sneaker, originally released in 2006, was created by Jordan and Spike, mating the Jordan III, IV, V, VI and XX. The shoe also includes an image of Spike’s Mars Blackmon character on the heel, as well as the ‘40 Acres & A Mule’ logo, representing Spike’s film production company. These are likely “Player Exclusives,” but we’ll be sure to update you if a wider release is announced.

After previously presenting the Terry Richardson figure, UncleYork is ready to release its next toy – Spike Lee. The brand pays tribute to Mars Blackmon aka Spike Lee with this figure, which will release 2011. We will of course keep you posed.

Parisian jewelry brand Nous Sommes presents their latest addition to the range – the Spike Lee necklace. Spike Lee joins Lady GaGa, Michael Jackson, Grace Jones and Karl Lagerfeld. The necklace is now available through their newly launched online store.

ABSOLUT gets together with Spike Lee to design their latest limited edition vodka bottle – ABSOLUT Brooklyn.

“The bottle features a depiction of a brownstone with the number from Lee’s childhood home in Cobble Hill and bears his name on the bottle. Inside the bottle is a vodka flavored with apple and ginger. It has a retail price of $29.99 . Each of the city editions of Absolut has a charitable initiative attached, as part of this campaign Absolut is donating $50,000 to Habitat for Humanity to help fund an affordable homes project in Bedford-Stuyvesant.”

Behold a little creative nugget from the New York chapter of Nike Stadiums. Today we share a little teaser entitled “Practice is Everything”, an intimate moment with Spike Lee assist coaching his son’s soccer team, together sharing a passion for discipline and teamwork. The narrative follows the team practicing at the Sara D. Roosevelt Park field in Chinatown.

Not new to the whole sneaker game, Nike worked once again with Spike Lee. This time they chose to work on the Sky Force Mid. It comes in a white premium leather colorway with red and green accents in different materials.

Following up on the Big Nike High from the Spike Lee Pack, Nike has released the matching Big Nike Low now. The sneaker comes in an off-white colorway, mixed with brown and red. The side-panels feature a soft pattern on the upper and the logo of the pack is placed on the tongue tag. The sneaker is now available from LTD.
