For Fall 2011 XLarge worked with SSUR on a capsule collection. The line-up includes a t-shirt, a hoodie, as well as two caps. All items feature a skeleton version of the XLarge logos along with a SSUR signature. Classic material, that will be released in Japan on September 23rd, 2011.

New York artist/designer SSUR has created a cool animation inspired by “The Shining.” As Russ (SSUR) puts it “The pressure to create can sometimes drive us mad.”

Originally seen as part of Bearbrick Series 20, New York artist SSUR’s Bearbrick has been release for Spring 2011 in 400% size. Crafted to look like a porcelain art, the bear features various blue and gold paint strokes over a polished white base. Now in store at Caliroots. (storeguide)

Black Scale has a lot to celebrate these days. This morning we previewed the 1st anniversary items of their San Francisco store and here we preview now the product that will release for the opening of their new New York retail space. Next to SSUR, they also got together with Eiknarf and Knyew on special t-shirt collaborations. Furthermore Eiknarf also designed two posters that will go on sale at the opening today.

Black Scale has announced an upcoming New York store front after first opening in San Franciso. For New York they have teamed up wity SSUR on a collaborative on-going store. The doors officially open on November 15th, with the opening party happening on Black Friday, November 20th.

“Black Scale opens it’s doors this Monday November 15th, 2010 on Elizabeth Street in the Nolita Area of New York City. We teamed up with SSUR to make this possible and have a permanent home in New York and the store will be both a Black Scale x SSUR store front. We will open our doors with a very minimal look just like our first store in San Francisco when we first opened it’s doors and as time goes by you will see our store grow with us. Black Friday is the grand opening for the New York store with special Black Scale New York product and collaborations with SSUR and 5th Column.”

SSUR also gets in on some Halloween action and presents a series of themed t-shirts for the holiday. The line-up includes DeadFellas, Scareface and The Deadfather, all three coming in a black colorway.

In time for the opening of The Hundreds New York, the California brand gets together with New York based artist SSUR. They present two collaborative t-shirts, both featuring signature elements of SSUR graphics, infused with some The Hundreds DNA. The t-shirts will be released exclusively at The Hundreds New York next week.

It has been very quiet around the LA based head wear brand in recent months. Today Estate LA gives us a preview of a collaboration with New York artist SSUR. The cap comes in navy with two NY logos on te front and the back reading “A City So Nice, It Has Been Named Twice”. The side features the signature of the artist. After some teasers, the SSUR x Converse First String Pro Leather 1976 High Top has released this week.

“Coming in a two tone suede and leather, the shoe features gold accents throughout as well as custom insole artwork. Golden shark tooth lace locks are also included for good luck. The shoe is finished off with a Metallic gold skull motif on the rear heel.”

The sneaker is now available from Haven.

The latest installment in SSUR’s ongoing collaborative project with DC has hit retail. The CAVIAR CARTEL colors are inspired by SSUR’s russian roots; the black sneaker represents the black market trade of caviar, while the red shoe represents the soviet iron curtain. Save it. We know they’re JIV rips.
