Caliroots take stock in the latest from streetwear OG Russ Karablin and his brand SSUR. “Russ started SSUR (Russ backwards) in New York, early 90s, when he also did most graphics for legendary new york brand Supreme. Now over 15 years later he is still going strong and this delivery is no different.” We’re partial to the ones they’d make you turn inside out at school.

In addition to the fragment design 1000% Bearbrick, we also have a detailed look at Bearbrick Series 20. The new lineup includes a 100% fragment version as well as designs from Krooked and SSUR alongside South Africa (in honor of World Cup 2010), Toy Story 3, Gremlins, Iron Man and Captian Action make ups. Also of note is the Basic model – a reproduction of the first Bearbrick toy from 2001. Available June 2010.

Converse is getting ready for their next collaboration. This time they went OG and worked with New York artist SSUR. The Pro Leather 1976 comes with cracked leather over the eyelets, premium suede on the upper, and gold shark teeth lace locks for good luck. These will released in the next weeks at SSUR in New York and other Converse First String accounts. Via Complex.

For their latest vinyl creation Kid Robot Black aligns with New York based artist Ruslan Karablan, better known as SSUR. “SSUReal From the Cradle to the Grave is a 6-inch, matte black vinyl skull featuring gold chrome-plated ABS teeth, articulated jaw, and a unique, embossed sylvan pattern covering the entire surface of the cranium. Also features a gold embossed Kidrobot x SSUR logo on the base of the skull.” This figure is limited to 200 pieces and retails for $200 USD – but lucky for you, we’re giving one away!

While at Project LV, we dropped by the DC booth and grabbed a sneak peek at the next installment in SSUR’s on going series. The CAVIAR CARTEL colors are inspired by SSUR’s russian roots. Black represents the black market trade of caviar, while the red shoe represents the soviet iron curtain.

Shoes Master dropped by the DC Fall 2010 Preview and grabbed a sneak peek at the next installment in SSUR’s on going series with the skate footwear brand. Coming in as part of the DC Double Label Projects collection, the CAVIAR CARTEL colors are inspired by SSUR’s russian roots. Black (shoe) represents the black market trade of caviar. The red (shoe) represents the soviet iron curtain.On the heel are a pair of cross sharks. Representing the shark infested waters the caviar trade ships traveled across. We’ll give you a better look when we can.

SSUR and Kangol re-release their collaborative Wool Ushanka in all black for Fall/Winter 09. The Wool Ushanka is inspired by the original Russian trapper-style hat. Constructed of melton wool and faux fur with a satin lining, the Wool Ushanka will keep you toasty through the cold days ahead. Available in limited quantities from SSUR.

Following their special Halloween colorway, Caliroots hooked up with SSUR once again for another exclusive make up of the classic Platano t-shirt. The Black Friday version comes in black with an oversized tonal print and a contrasting pink banana. Limited to 72 pieces and available as of this Friday, November 27th, only at Caliroots.

Caliroots hooked up with SSUR to release a special Halloween colorway of the Platano graphic. The t-shirt comes in grey and white, with a large scale mostly orange print and is limited to 72 pieces worldwide. Caliroots has been released online today.

Each season Monument Snowboard’s Creative Director, Christopher Glancy curates an ever-growing pedigree of artists to create site-specific art and deliver the highest quality product on the market. This season they worked with SSUR, Rammellzee, Bjorn Copeland, Richard Colman, and Kelsey Brookes. Each artist created a snowboard for the 2009-2010 season, with the exception of SSUR, who actually created 3 snowboards. The range is very impressive and definitely worth considering this season, if you need a new board.
