We are glad to be the first to report about an exciting new collaboration. adidas Originals will be working with Lucasfilm Ltd. on a collaborative STAR WARS™ collection, with first releases coming for Spring/Summer 2010.

The Spring/Summer 2010 collection fuses iconic STAR WARS™ characters and scenes with classic adidas Originals footwear and apparel silhouettes. Inspired by the galactic saga, the STAR WARS™ collection consists of limited edition as well as mass distribution footwear, apparel and accessories for men, women and kids. Classic adidas Originals track tops and several legendary sneaker styles are represented with characters and scenes from the epic saga in reinterpreted versions. Expect to see Darth Vader and Stormtrooper graphics on select iconic Originals styles. Other key STAR WARS™ characters and memorable moments from the films will also be represented in innovative ways.

The Spring/Summer STAR WARS™ collection will be introduced at retail beginning January 2010. Select retailers as well as adidas Originals Stores worldwide will carry the collection. The collaboration will also include a Fall/Winter 2010 line with an exciting new assortment of footwear and apparel.

Disney is currently promoting their upcoming Star Wars weekends in May and June and to do so, they produced a series of ads. Each ad features one of your favorite characters from the movies. The ads are fun and also look great, making it an overall well executed campaign. Via BBC/Ice Cream.

Addict continues their Star Wars apparel collaboration this season, introducing several new designs by Mitch in the “Outline Series”. The series consists of three t-shirts, each one feturing a character from Star Wars, re-drawn by Mitch in the outline style. The limited edition series comes in special boxes and is now available in the Addict online store.

After releasing a couple of months ago the Darth Vader vinyl toy in Japan, it seems like Kaws this time worked on the Stormtrooper. The classic Star Wars character got the Kaws make-over and now features the cross eyes, as well as other trademark attributes by the NYC artist.

We predict that the Original Fake Stormtrooper toy will only be released in Japan, as the license agreement does not cover Europe and the US. But more on that once we get closer to the release. Pic via Anytime.

We are giving you an exclusive preview of the Royal Guard, which is part of the Series 3 of the Mimobot x Star Wars collection. Mimobot will officially announce and release the latest character tomorrow at noon. For all Star Wars fans and people in need of agood looking USB stick, this is something worth considering!

Pepsi Nex in Japan has always enjoyed working with Medicom on some special Bearbricks to come along with their bottles. This time they also teamed up with Star Wars and present a line-up of the main characters of the movie series. The collectibles are now available in Japan. Via Secretbase.

Brought up in the Shires of the North of England, Mitch’s fascination with design and illustration was initiated by a love of comics and the Star Wars phenomenon. His first true influence was Ralph McQuarrie (Star Wars’ chief illustrator) and, much do the disapproval of various art teachers, he spent most of his early years in the realms of fantasy art and graffiti.
In addition, Mitch has worked on many special projects, live paints and collaborations with other artists; 55 Roots for 55 DSL (live paint and group art show with Dragon and Shibuya from Japan), Bacardi brand development (with Mode 2) and Black Twang/We Love You album projects (with Banksy).
Throughout the majority of Mitch’s career, Addict Clothing company have been a consistent ally, sharing many of the same influences, ideals and vision. Perhaps the most reciprocal relationship to date, we all look forward to wearing  the fruits of their collective passion.

Entitled ‘Icons Series’ this one off set of officially licensed exclusive boxed tees depicts Mitch’s unique signature illustration style of three of the most iconic characters from the original Star Wars trilogy… Boba Fett, Sandtrooper and Scout Trooper.

Manik Skateboards and the store Triumph in San Rafael, CA have teamed up to bring you a colab that is out of this world. Triumph has been a longtime supporter of the brand and this has been in the works for sometime.  With Triumph’s proximity to the Skywalker Ranch and their mutual respect for all things Jedi, they went with it. There is the Vader and the One Love At-At’s, both with movie screen insides. There are a limited number of these so may the force be with you in getting to Triumph and picking one up.

We have previewed these Star Wars inspired Adidas Consortium sneakers before, but now that they have been released we had to show them to you again, simply because of the great packaging. Much like the Star Wars figures, the sneakers also come in a nice packaging. We have seen similar releases from Bape before.

The good people at OFF THE HOOK in Montreal are presenting a POP-UP SHOP featuring MARC ECKO CUT & SEW and STAR WARS official collaboration collection entitled EPISODE. The entire line of specialized t-shirts, hoodies and jackets will be available at the POP-UP SHOP for the whole month of DECEMBER, starting Saturday the 1st and ending on Monday the 31st.
