Furthermore Undefeated has collaborated with Massive Monkees on a t-shirt. The t-shirt has been released at Undefeated LA and in the online store yesterday.

Feature: Jeff Staple On Starter Black Label

jeff staple interview on starter black label - highsnobiety
In 2002, I bought an Eagles Starter Parka on eBay for 28$US shipped. I also cut some fancy parts in my hair. My childhood swagger was back. Unfortunately, the jacket was roughly the same size I would have worn when I was eleven, and the haircut was not greeted warmly by women. I’d made a slight mistake, failing to fuse my nostalgic yearning with my contemporary needs.

Last holiday season, when images of Starter jackets started appearing and rumors of a revamp began to buzz, memories of my youth (and my misguided style choices in 2002) were ignited. Recently, we were greeted to official confirmation of the rumors. Starter is back… or more appropriately, the brands profile has been reinvigorated. Helmed by Jeff Staple, Starter Black Label is sporting heritage meets contemporary sportswear.

Over email, Jeff shared some of his thoughts about and inspirations for Black Label.

Tomorrow’s grand opening of the new CONCEPTS Store in Harvard Square marks a major renovation for this Boston landmark which has been in business since 1996. HighSnobiety has a full preview of the build out just around the corner.

To celebrate the new storefront, CONCEPTS has teamed up with a strong list of brands to commemorate the opening. Over the course of the next few weeks, we’ll be previewing these drops here on HighSnobiety.
To start it off at tomorrow’s (Feb 2) grand opening, CONCEPTS is releasing their hat collaboration with The Hundreds. Available in either green or black (Celtic’s pride) these snapback “Starter style” hats bring a little of that LA flavor to the East Coast.
Again, they’ll be available tomorrow in limited quantities at the new CONCEPTS location in Harvard Square. If you’re in town, be sure to stop on in.

RTEmagicC starter hs 1.jpg Starter x HighSnobiety
Yesterday a nice package arrived at our doorstep from Starter. You have probably already seen some of these arrive at some of the brands and stores that we report about on a regular. We were super psyched when we saw the content of the package, a HighSnobiety Starter jacket. Thanks a lot!

Rumors have been going around for a while, that the brand is planning big things for next year. We won’t say anything yet, to keep it a surprise!
“Don’t Call It A Comeback!”
Anyways, check out the full jacket after the jump.

Mighty Healthy NYC x Starter

RTEmagicC mightyh starter.jpg Mighty Healthy NYC x Starter
For a while already we have heard rumors about several streetwear brands collaborating with Starter. Starter is the kind of brand that probably most of you were into at a certain point in time, then they just suddenly disappeared from the streets. To celebrate their comeback, they will launch collaborations with several brands throughout next year. We will not tell you which ones, that would ruin the surprise.
But Mighty Healthy already posted a pic of their collaboration on their CrazySteezYo site, thus we can already show you that, sort of as an appetizer to the big things that are to come!
