Steven Alan has produced a small capsule collection for Japanese retailer Beauty & Youth United Arrows. The line consists of shirts, a wool vest, a wool duffle coat and some knitwear. The collection will be released in Japan on November 3rd.

Lower East Side, NYC-based bike shop Chari & Co worked with designer Steven Alan to create a flannel riding shirt. Featuring a long tail to cover your behind, a Velcro-fastened rip-open chest pocket in a messenger bag friendly position, and a “hunting pocket” zippered into the back, this shirt promises to be a sturdy riding companion. For Spring/Summer 2010, Steven Alan chose a more unusual way of presenting his collection. The designer produced a movie with the actors in the movie wearing the new line. Definitely pretty cool, so make sure to check it out! Via Selectism.

The line offers a superb selection of outerwear, knitwear and of course a great line-up of shirts, just like we are used to see from the brand. Once again The Generic Man and Steven Alan team up on some footwear. This time they worked on a slip-on and gave it the vintage treatment. The slip-ons have all been hand-painted and they come in three colorways – black, white and grey. They are now available at Steven Alan locations in NYC and LA.

After rumors had been circulating for a while about a possible collaboration of Uniqlo and other fashion brands, they have today finally officially announced the Uniqlo Designer Invitation Project. The first line-up of designers in the project includes Steven Alan, Opening Ceremony, Shipley & Halmos and Gilded Age. The first two collections will get into stores on 9th of March, the last two on 13th of April. We cannot wait to see the outcome of the collections and are certainly all up for some well prices goods from these four brands. Via Selectism.
