Many times we have reported about our excitement about the one year old Monocle magazine, which set new standards in a world, where print is not the standard anymore. The magazine, founded by Tyler Brulé, took a different approach from pretty much everything else out there and was very well received, due to a great mix of topics and high standards overall.
Steven Vogel from Blacklodges sat down with Andrew Tuck, the editor in charge of Monocle, and they talked about the print world as well as Monocle specifically. A very interesting read. Check it out here.

Surrender recently opened a little store-in-store corner at the DPMHI Store in London. Blacklodges, a new website that just launched today, presents the new Surrender Fall/Winter 2007 collection, as well as some pictures of the Surrender concept at DPMHI.
Blacklodges just in case you don’t know yet, is the latest venture of Steven Vogel, the man behind the “Streetwear” book that was released this year. Expect an in-depth online magazine about music, underground culture, streetwear and more!
