Commes Des Garcons has opened in Paris two “Pocket” stores. The pop-up stores are very small and only house the Comme Des Garcons PLAY collection, as well as their perfume and accessories line. Outfitted in all white, the set-up is clean, just like we are used from the brand. There are two such Pocket stores right now in Paris, with the one that we show you here being in the Marais district of the city.

We are not sure how long these will be open, thus you better pass by soon.

After months of renovations, Surrender re-opened their store in Singapore. The interior has received a serious upgrade and the store now has a real premium feel to itself. In terms of product, Surrender still offers all your favorite Japanese brands, including Visvim, WTAPS, Neighborhood and others, and they added a lot of lifestyle brands to the mix, making it an overall more complete shopping experience now. The 4010 store will be opening its doors in Berlin beginning of October. It will be a new concept shop by the Deutsche Telekom, the first of its kind – a creative playground, research lab and much more! Unlike all other Telekom stores, it will not only present product, but offer artist collaboration t-shirts in collaboration with Artschoolvets, music from the DJ Set and of course your usual Telekom product offering, including cellphones and much more.

It is all about the presentation in the new store and about creating an experience and a connection with the customer. In the future you will be able to get a new phone and at the same time listen to some good tunes, while choosing a t-shirt designed by Skism and Artschoolvets for the store. Did we mention that the 4010 store will also house Europe’s first Multitouch? It’s that crazy touchscreen system that Microsoft developed, thus yet another reason to go check it out.

It is always interesting seeing big corporations taking notice of the importance of the influencer crowd. In the US that might be something rather normal already, but in Europe it is still very new. The 4010 store will open its doors October 6th. Look out for it!

We reported about the opening of the Supreme Nagoya store a couple of days ago and showed you the t-shirts that were released for the occasion. Thanks to Honeyee we can now give you a look inside the new store. In typical Supreme style, the interior is kept simple and clean – wooden floors, t-shirt and bag display units and a wall displaying some familiar faces of the Supreme family.

This past weekend Supreme opened their latest store in Japan – the Supreme Nagoya Store. Of course they released some special items for the occasion. This time they went back to the basics and released two box logo t-shirts – one in gold, the other one in classic red. The t-shirts feature on the back a little Supreme Nagoya emblem.

As you can imagine people were eagerly awaiting the opening. Take a look at the scene after the jump.

Kicks/Hi is about to open yet another store, this time in Tumon Bay, Guam. It is the 3rd Kicks/Hi door, and they continue to progress nicely. The opening is on 26th of September. Make sure to pass by if you are around! Via Ian Ginoza.

It took a while, but this weekend the first H&M store opened its doors in Japan in the Ginza district. The grand opening of the store began with a ribbon cut by CEO Rolf Eriksen and Christine Edman, H&M’s country manager in Japan, which led the 5000 people who queued (crazy) to flow into the sparkling new store. 

H&M GINZA have approximately 1000m2 of sales area over four floors, from basement to 3rd floor, exhibiting Womens, Mens, and Accessories concepts.

The arrival of H&M in Japan will be properly celebrated with the Comme Des GarconsFor H&M collection , next month.

Paul Mittleman gives us a first look at the newly renovated Stussy Harajuku Chapter Store. The interior has got a nice work-shop look now with metal lamps and lots of used of wood.

The good people at the United Front were once again busy opening yet another Goodfoot store, the overall 6th location across Canada. The new store is also situated in Toronto, but not anywhere close where you would expect. This is something we always admire and at the same we realize the power behind our culture, when a new territory is being invaded and out of nothing a retail street/destination builds up. We have seen this in Paris, when Colette arrived over 10 years ago, Lower Eastside in NYC and we have seen it in Los Angeles on Fairfax more recently and there are many more to name.
Well, Goodfoot did once again that and opened on St. Clair Avenue in Toronto. It will be interesting to see how the surroundings will develop in the next couple of years. It once again shows that United Front/Goodfoot is leading the way in Toronto.

Visvim is ready to open their next flagship store in Japan. After Tokyo, Sendai and Kanazawa, now comes Hiroshima. We are already looking forward to see the minimalist interior of the new store. Via Honeyee.
