We take a first look at the Nike Harajuku flagship store, that will open its doors this coming Saturday, November 14th. The store will carry the entire Nike product line-up, performance collections, will carry its own Nike iD studio and much more.

In time for the Holiday season, Dover Street Market will be launching a new Extra Small store concept. An abbreviation in time and space of Dover Street Market’s beautiful chaos. Six stories condensed and edited, launching Friday 6th November and open daily from 12.00 to 22.00 throughout the months of November and December.

Japanese brand Undercover has recently opened their new Kanazawa flagship store. Once again the brand impresses with a very unique take on interior design, placing a massive light installation on the ceiling and also making use of the backyard of the store. The audio equipment in the store is another highlight not to be missed.

Kidrobot, the world’s premier creator of limited edition art toys and apparel, is finally venturing across the pond!

This November, they are opening the doors to their London store, and to mark this historic occasion, they are having a Grand Opening celebration with UK artist duo TADO on Thursday, November 19 from 6-8pm.

To celebrate their 20th anniversary, G-Star has opened the Raw 20 Store in Harajuku. The store will stay open for a limited time only and is selling a special 20th anniversary collection of limited edition product, designed by Marc Newson, who has previously already worked with the Dutch denim label on several capsule collections. Today Arkitip will be opening once again the physical Arkitip Shop. The store will open up in Los Angeles from 12pm to 6pm and will offer not only all current product, but also some great pieces from the Arkitip archive.

New York’s Gagosian Gallery has recently opened their first retail space in the city. The store offers an impressive line-up of one-off items and limited edition product from Gagosian’s mind-blowing list of big name artists, including Richard Prince, Jeff Koons and Damien Hirst. Damien Hirst’s Other Criteria has an entire section in the retail space. You can find anything from books, prints to special objects. The store opened beginning of the month on Madison Avenue.

The much anticipated Nike SB Pop-Up Store opened yesterday in Berlin on Torstrasse 72. Not only does the store present a strong line-up of the current Nike SB collection, they also exhibit the works of photographer Alex Flach, who traveled with the Nike SB team around the globe and documented it. Stops on the trip included Dubai, Cairo, Capetown and Tokyo. Another highlight in the space is the built in mini rimp indoor. We can only suggest to pass by, either for some new product highlights from Nike SB or for a little skate session. You will not be disappointed.

October 10th will see the opening of the “Alive with Pleasure” exhibition of Berlin based photographer Alex Flach. Besides the exhibition there will be a Nike SB temporary store and an indoor miniramp. The exhibition shows pictures of the German Nike SB Team touring through Tokyo, Dubai, Capetown and Cairo. Accompanying the exhibition there will be a limited and signed book, shirt and poster available at the store. The official launch event takes place next Saturday.

Today a new Boutique Kitsuné Maison pop-up store has opened at colette. The store takes a small space on the first floor and offers a wide range of Kitsuné product, includinfg their new Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. Certainly worth checking out on your next colette visit.
