Today we can finally present you the first two shades from the Oakley x STPL Collection. Together the two brands celebrate the 35th anniversary of Oakley. They are celebrating it properly with a series of collaborations.

Here is a first look at two styles to release on July 13th, with many more to follow in August and September. The Oakley Eyeshade comes in a “Tennis” edition, featuring a frame inspired by a tennis ball. Also they present the Radar in a “Golf” edition, with the upper inspired by a golf ball.

An event to celebrate the collaboration and the anniversary, will be taking place tomorrow at The Reed Space.

We give you a detailed look at the second delivery of the STPL Spring/Summer 2010 Collection. Most of this part of the collection has been produced in Japan. The delivery includes a nice line-up of shirts and light weight summer jackets. All new styles are now available from Reed Space New York.

Falling in line with the warm weather, Staple Design unveils the first delivery of their STPL Spring 2010 Collection. “The theme, as with the tees, we recently posted follows the “Econ Major” theme. Most of the pieces seen here are made in Saitama, Japan. You can expect a major step up in quality from this STPL Collection. This is serious garment making boys. We shot the entire look book in New York’s landmark Wall Street Financial District. After 9/11, do you know how hard it is to do a shoot there? Also notice, there’s not a single person in each shot other than the model. Not an easy feat to pull off. We give you a detailed look at the STPL Spring 2009 Collection, actually the cut-and-sew portion mostly. The more mature line in the Staple brand, STPL, presents a great set of button-down shirts with nice details all over. We get a first deep look at the STPL Fall/Winter 2008 collection, entitled this season “The Science Of Life”. The brand continues to develop the cut & sew part of the collection, which now represents the majority. You will find trench coats, button downs, outerwear and some nice accessories in the new line-up. The details on every piece certainly stand-out and you will always find a little twist, even if it seems classic at first – bottom line a smart collection, from what we can see so far.
