After we first previewed the Stussy Deluxe x Dr. Martens Dessert Boots in January, we can give you another look at them today. The very clean looking boots will be coming as part of the Stussy Deluxe Fall 2009 collection in grey, brown and black. Each boot features a white sole and subtle color accents. The uppers are made of waterproof suede, also each boot will be coming with two pairs of laces. Via Freshness.

Expect these to be in stores as of August 2008.

Now that the Stussy Deluxe Spring 2009 Collection has released, we can take a more detailed look. The line certainly grown in size over time and now has a pretty good offering. The new collection consists of a lot of nice basics, especially in terms of t-shirts, polos and fleece hoodies and crewneck sweaters. Also the accessories and pants sections have grown, now offering bags, hats, caps of all kinds and more. For some strange reason shirts seem to be missing this season, or will come at a later time – we will keep you posted.

The way the collection looks now, Stussy Deluxe offers premium basics in severl categories. We like the collection, yet we hope for a more distinguished look in the future and some more character.

Stussy gives us a first look their upcoming Spring 2009 Deluxe collection. The line nicely evolves and introduces an overall clean and more mature look.

An interesting collaboration is coming from Stussy Deluxe and Seattle based Maiden Noir, currently previewing at the (Capsule) Show in Las Vegas. We see t-shirt, hoodie and all other sorts of collaborations all the time, but denim is will rare. The two brands worked on a black and blue pair of denim, both coming with suspenders. The blue pair will be sold through Stussy and the black pair through Maiden Noir retailers. The Stussy Deluxe denim will feature a red suspender, the Maiden Noir distributed denim will feature the above color. This is the second collaboration for Stussy Deluxe. The first being the coming footwear collection with Dr. Martens.

The full line from Stussy Deluxe for Autumn 2008 is now out. Jackets and shirts, along with accessories like caps and bags are all in the mix. After recently showing you most part of the Stussy Deluxe Fall 2008 collection, we show you today the accessories of the line this season. The brand presents some nice premium leather accessories, including keychains, belts as well as a flask. Furthermore cashmere beanies are in the line-up.

The Stussy Deluxe Fall 2008 accessories are now available at The Reed Space.

A while back we presented you the Stussy Deluxe Fall 2008 collection, consisting of shirts, denim, fleece and jackets. The brand also presents this season two bags – a messenger bag and a backpack. Both pieces come in a mix of black nylon and full grain patent leather, giving them a premium appearance. Other details include multiple compartments and very nice Stussy Deluxe logo details.

Stussy Deluxe was first introduced last Fall/Winter season and turned quite some heads, more because of the general idea, then the actual collection. Targeted at a more mature audience, Stussy Deluxe produces in higher quality and pays more attention to cuts. We could right away see the difference on the new pieces, compared to the regular Stussy collection and were excited about this new development. 
Nevertheless we think there is a communication problem with Stussy Deluxe. Prices are very steep compared to regular Stussy product, but many times you see Stussy Deluxe hanging right next to Stussy in stores. The idea of Stussy Deluxe is great, now we just want to see a better overall strategy for the brand. It seems like they are stuck in the middle at the moment. Differentiate it more and make it a stand-alone brand, then people might also be willing to pay the price for it.
Anyways, back to the new collection. Thanks to H(Y)R Collective we can show you some pieces from the new collection. Quality denim, shirts, jackets and some nice accessories make up the new Stussy Deluxe Fall/Winter 2008 collection. Many nice pieces are in the line, especially the bag line and the jackets look great. Look out for it to be available in the coming weeks.

Just yesterday we presented to you the Goods Spring ‘08 collection. Just like every year the store celebrates its anniversary with a Stussy collaboration. But we certainly did not expect a Stussy Deluxe collaboration.
GOODS is celebrating its 5 year anniversary this month raising the bar with limited collaboration products from Stussy Deluxe. The exclusive Japanese gingham fabric is the theme for the line which includes a French terry fleece with gingham side panel (2 colors), M-65 gingham jacket, two tees, a white gingham new era, a black gingham new era and a skateboard deck. The party is April 25th at the War Room in Seattle with Peanut Butter Wolf with the release of the GOODS X Stussy Deluxe collection the following day April 26th in store only at GOODS and online only at www.stussydeluxe.com. We are impressed, but at the same time we did not expect anything else from the Goods people.
