Our brothers over at Selectism have a look into Ksubi’s 2010 eyewear offering. “By minimising the detail of the curves, acetates, metals and lenses, the flatness and sharpness of the finish and appearance of each frames is enhanced… Ksubi’s own acetate developments include unique digital printed leopard design & layered colour acetates with laser cuts in colours such as ksubi leopard print, leopard tortoiseshell, charcoal, navy, ivory frosts and fuchsia.” Overall the collection feature 13 new acetate frames.

Dedicated to those who drive themselves towards unparalleled achievements, Dita presents a new collection of high-end, performance driven eyewear entitled Lancier. The debut collection sees three different aviator-style frames, adorned with top-notch details including interchangable quick release temples, LAND, SEA or AIR markings (designating the intended use) and a unique serial number. Casing is done is premium leather. The initial release is limited to only 450 pieces, at a selection of hand picked accounts. A list of those accounts can be found on the Lancier website.

As part of their Holiday 2009 Collection Stussy has worked with Nitro Microphone Underground on a pair of sunglasses. They come in a classic black frame with dark lenses. Look out for a release soon. Image via Smart Dec. 09.

After previous collaborations with Japanese brand Neighborhood, DITA has now worked with Hong Kong’s CLOT crew on the “FDTD” sunglasses. CLOT got to create their very own frame for the collaboration and will be releasing it soon at their Juice retail store in Hong Kong in limited quantities. Via Kevin Poon.

Dita and Neighborhood continue to work on collaborative eyewear, also for Fall/Winter 2009. The Batmobile shades have been released these past days. The sunglasses come in all black and in black/white and are now available in the honeyee.store.

We’ll be the first to admit this isn’t a style that’s going to work for most people. But then again, die hard WTAPS fans aren’t most people – and if that’s you we don’t even have to mention that these are the ones WTAPS designer Tet himself wears. Now available at The Darkside Initiative alongside several other new WTAPS releases.

Stussy has worked with Japanese brand Mad Hectic on a series of sunglasses. The sunglasses come in overall 4 colorways, featuring solid frames and plaid colored frames. The sunglasses will be released on October 17th.

After numerous previews, Oakley presents actual images of the forthcoming collaborative product with legendary skater Eric Koston. Working with the Oakley design lab, Koston created a rugged black ballistic nylon backpack, a simple military inspired daypack and a pair of woodgrain Oakley Frogskins. The bags are available now in limited numbers at theberrics.com, Oakley in Harajuku, Commonwealth, Primative and In4mation, while a worldwide release is scheduled for November 1st, 2009 including a release a select Oakley and Apple stores. As an added bonus, each Oakley/Koston product comes packaged with an exclusive dual-logo pencil. Woodgrain all day.

After lots of previews, we can finally show you some clean product shots of the first model in The Hundreds new Eyeware Collection. The LA brand starts off their new sunglass collection with The Phoenix, a very classic looking pair of sunglasses. The sunglasses feature both The Hundreds logos on the inside and outside and they come in a series of colorways. They will be available at The Hundreds LA and SF flagship stores this coming Thursday.

Franco-Hungarian Flavien Demarigny, a.k.a. Mambo worked together with Oakley on a pair of Antix sunglasses. Using popular imagery that the media and consumer society convey – with his own added codes – Mambo applies his signature humor-dotted artwork over Oakley’s frames, soft case, packaging and a unique vinyl figure. Conveniently enough, the figure plays a second role as a sunglass stand. Drops next month.
