Following our initial adidas Originals x Burton preview, we can now show you another piece of footwear from the collection. The classic adidas Superstar is reworked in supple brown leather with metal rivets and a dual-branded tongue logo. Available November 2010.

CLOT and Edison Chen preview their second collaborative adidas Star Wars release. Inspired by Darth Vader, the “Darksidestars” are featured in black and red with 3M reflective details. Stay tuned for a full look!

First introduced for Fall 2009, the adidas Originals Tech Pack collection returns for Spring 2010. The first drop of the collection includes the Samba, Nizza Lo and Superstar. All three come in premium black leather versions with white and blue color accents. Also all three sneakers feature a ziczac pattern on the sole. The pack is now available for pre-order at End with a release date set for February 2010.

Today we can give you a first look at the adidas Originals Spring 2010 Element Pack. The pack consists of the Forum Mid, Stan Smith, Nizza High and the Superstar. All 4 sneakers come in tonal colorways and feature an element graphic on the tongue. Soon we will hopefully be able to tell you more about the functionality behind the pack, as that is something completely new and very interesting. For now we hope to keep you happy with the looks of the sneakers, which are now already  up for pre-order on Crooked Tongues.

Today we get a first more detailed look at the adidas Originals Plants Pack. The pack, with obvious inspiration from the world of plants, consists of the Nizza Hi Plant, Samba Plant, Forum Mid Plant, Stan Smith 80s Plant and the Superstar 80s Plant. All sneakers of the pack come in premium white leathers with an enhanced adidas Trefoil logo and the sole inspired by soil.

The World Champion Los Angeles Lakers begin their 2009-2010 season tonight along with the ring ceremony and banner raising acknowledging their 15th NBA Championship. To commemorate this moment, adidas Originals is releasing a special edition metallic gold and purple Superstar. The shoe will be available beginning on November 1st at the following retail locations: Undefeated, NBA Store, LA Lakers Team Shop, adidas Originals Store Melrose, adidas Originals Chicago, adidas Performance Store Santa Monica, adidas Performance Store Chicago and online at shopadidas.com.

adidas Originals presents their Fall/Winter 2009 Seasons Greetings Pack. The pack consists of the Stan Smith 2 and the Superstar 2, both coming in typical Christmas color combinations with further Christmas inspired graphics on the tongue tag and heel. To round-off the pack each Stan Smith and Superstar sneaker comes with a Qee toy keychain, dressed like Santa. The pack is now available from Flauge.

From the adidas x Def Jam 25th Anniversary Collection, the two Redman collaboration models have been released. The rapper worked on the Superstar and the Forum Mid. The Superstar comes with a red suede upper and black details, as well as a speckled sole. The Forum Mid comes in white/blue/red with gold accents. Both are now available from Proper.

The classic Superstar comes for Fall 2009 in two multicolor versions. adidas used patent leather all over the upper of the two sneakers. These are definitely attention seeking and thus not for everybody. In our opinion the kind of look that you either love or hate. Both colorways of the adidas Originals Superstar are now available from Flauge.

Next in line is a collaboration with Japan’s XLarge branch. They chose to work on the Superstar and gave it a more vivid design, after we have previously seen the more subtle Stone Island and Porter collaborations. We love seeing the mix of the classic XLarge and adidas logos on the heel.

Groundbreaking on it’s 1991 opening, LA’s X-Large store helped define streetwear as we know it with a mix of utilitarian basics and the cutting edge. Blending generation X lifestyle with a living large theme in both mind state and denim fit, the brand and the Superstar’s timeless, fat-lace friendly curves have been allied since day one, and designed with X-Large’s bold FW09 season in mind.

Alternating between lime green, purple, pink and blue snakeskin effect leathers, broken up by black suede 3-Stripes, complete with white X-LARGE lettering, while a matching suede tongue and heeltab display both brand’s logos. The white rubber shell keeps things striking, while a branded sockliner and no less that six sets of coloured laces emblazoned with the slogan, “Getting no respect since ‘91” keeps things appropriately versatile.
