Over the past year, Surface to Air and KOL have become fast friends and genuine fans of each others work while developing a mutual respect and admiration for one and others creative point of view. It is with this artistic integrity and in the spirit of sharing and collaboration that they introduce the “S2A x KOL” capsule collection. The line will be released in select boutiques January 2010.

Items such as military shirts, shawl collar cardigans and graphics tees make up the drop alongside several checked shirts. As we have come to expect from the Parisian brand, each garment is given a few subtle twists, setting S2As pieces apart from similar designs. Available now.

After presenting the Surface 2 Air Fall/Winter 2009 Collection the other day, we give you more detailed views of their sneaker offering for the new season today. Just like with their clothing, the Parisian brand also shows different faces in their footwear offering. From more sporty, surf inspired canvas sneakers to more refined high top leather sneakers the collection is pretty complete. The colors on the canvas shoes are different than what we are used to see from most other brands – if you like that kind of “different” you have to decide for yourself. Opinions here vary. Overall we do like the collection though, especially the suede styles.

The line is very complete and seems to have grown once again. From simple and basic knitwear to more complicated jackets and outerwear, footwear and more, you will find anything in the line. We get a first look at the Surface 2 Air Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. The Parisian label presents as usual a solid collection, keeping it easy on most cut-and-sew pieces, while the t-shirts still feature bold designs. Especially the outerwear and the knitwear sticks out next season in our mind.

In previous seasons Parisian brand Surface 2 Air introduced mostly canvas low top sneakers and slip-ons. For Spring/Summer 2009 they went in a different direction and introduce a high top mode. The sneaker comes in a variety of colorways and leathers and will soon be available at Surface 2 Air retailers.
