Dr. Romanelli continues with the Surgical Strike theme through out his Spring 2008 collection. They present a strong line-up of jackets and coats this season, just like previously, with a heavy military influence in terms of colors and features.
The new Dr. Romanelli Spring 2008 Surgical Strike collection is now available at Sophnet stores and also Isetan.

We have presented to you already the general release of the Dr. Romanelli Surgical Strike collection. The military inspired collection has been first shown at Maharishi in London. The brand has always had a tight relationship with Japanese brand Sophnet. Thus they made some special edition jackets, with lots of special embroideries and patches, that will be exclusively available at Sophnet stores in Japan. Via Honeyee.

Just recently we presented to you the Dr. Romanelli Surgical Strike collection. Now they made some special edition pieces under the same theme for the Sophnet stores in Japan. The range consists of mostly leathe jackets with nice fur lining, getting you ready for colder weeks ahead. The jackets are available since this weekend.

Available now are the latest pieces from Dr Romanelli’s Surgical Strike collection, one off hand altered pieces made from vintage military jackets and premium leathers. Every piece comes with a prescription from the good doctor, detailing the pieces used to construct each garment. The pieces had been originally created for the Surgical Strike exhibition, a collaboration of Dr. Romanelli, Maharishi and artist Andrew Brandou.

Dr. Romanelli and Andrew Brandou will be showcasing their latest Surgical Strike Collection and paintings at London’s Maharishi starting November 22nd.
“Working together in a military theme, the pair has each created a passionate body of work meditating on the culture of war from uniquely different angles. Inspired by his love of vintage military garments, Romanelli has taken a wide range of iconic uniform pieces from several countries and reimagined them as high-end luxury apparel far removed from their original utilitarian purposes. Meanwhile, painter Andrew Brandou has created a new series of works reinvisioning the world of legendary wildlife artist John James Audobon as populated by a new breed of fashion-conscious and heavily armed animals.” Via Supertouch.
The pieces created by Dr. Romanelli in this collection are simply stunning, as they are not only superior quality, but each piece also tells a story. That mixed with the artwork of Andrew Brandou makes an exciting exhibition that you should not miss.

Honeyee presents the latest collection by Dr. Romanelli – Surgical Strike. Once again they got together with Sophnet’s F.C.R.B. to collaborate on a couple of pieces. In this collection they used as usual a lot of leather but unlike previous collections, this one is much more technical. Especially the hooded camouflage jacket has lots of technical features. This latest release is one of our favorite from Dr. Romanelli to date. Hopefully they will do more in this direction. Here modeled by Lupe Fiasco.

Dr. Romanelli will launch his next installment of the “Surgical Strike” collection at Sophnet in Tokyo this week. Featuring reconstructed vintage military garments with new premium leather and luxury details, we can clearly say that this is one of our favorite Romanelli collections to date.
