Michael Williams reports in at GQ on an incredible sweater from L.L. Bean’s 96-year-old archives. “Made out of unscoured wool (which is naturally water-resistant), it’s just as warm and durable as it was when sported by seafarers decades ago—and style-wise it’s tough to go wrong here, whether your tastes tend toward the urban haute bourgeoisie or something more like Richard Proenneke’s “Alone in the Wilderness”. As part of their Fall/Winter 2008 collection, FUCT used a Champion crewneck sweater. The FUCT x Champion “Symbionese” crewneck comes in grey and feature a black print on the front. The sleeve still carries the Champion logo tag. There is no set release date announced, but expect it to release soon.

Head Porter Plus offers as part of their Fall/Winter 2008 collection the Snow Pack. Inspired by classic Norwegian knitwear, the pack consists of the Snow Sweater, Snow Beanie and the Snow Muffler. Each piece comes in overall three colorways. The Head Porter Plus Snow Pack is now available in the honeyee store.

Fred Perry announced a collaboration project with Terry Hall. Terry’s singualr voice and style has definted music and fashion for generations of British youth. From thegroundbreaking sound of The Specials, to the boundary pushing Fun Boy Three and TheColourfield.
The late 70’s style v-neck has been made to the original specification, with deeper V, oversized laurel and original cut. Inspired by the era defining photograph of Terry from the very first edition of Face magazine. 
The product has been made in Britain with pure British lambs wool. Only 500 individually numbered v-necks will be released worldwide in classic black and maroon.
Triads is among the European retailers that will carry it.

Diving head first into cut & sew, Fitted Hawaii have collaborated with world renowned tattooist Mike Ledger on a striking crew sweater. Depicted on the back is the same “Fist City” logo (designed by Mike) etched on the store’s door. Think an Island brass knuckle, a fist surrounded by sharks teeth. The sweaters are in a limited run of 100.

Reigning Champ worked this season on a nice custom piece with Huf SF. The striped sweaters come in french terry and Henley style neck closure. Two colorways were released – white/blue and white/green. The sweaters also feature the exposed flat lock seams that we are used from Reigning Champ. Definitely an instant classic and something that will stay in your wardrobe for a while.

This light hooded sweatshirt from Unrivaled is a remix of a classic commando sweater. Updated by Unrivaled the piece features subtle branding such as the small cross embroidery on the chest as well as a woven label on the shoulder. It comes both as a hoodie and as a crewneck in military green and navy and is now available at Firmament.

Commissary has always produced nice in-store collections, unfortunately they do not drop very regular. Now they released their first crewneck sweater. It comes in black, features “COMM” embroidered on th front and also has a small logo embroidery on the sleeve. It you need a good quality black crewneck, that you can wear with and for anything, then this is something you should go for!

Last year Las Vegas based boutique Fruition, known for their outstanding selection of vintage clothing, started carrying the Jeremy Scott collection, as one of only a handful retailers worldwide. Now the store got together with the designer to collaborate on a special crewneck sweater featuring Bart Simpson wearing an outfit made up of previous Jeremy Scott patterns. A great piece, unfortunately hard to get a hold of! Via Hypebeast.

After the recent release of a range of Alife Rivington Club t-shirts, they now present crewneck sweaters. The crewnecks come in three colorways (grey, red, purple) and feature a small logo print on the front chest and a “Y’All All Can’t Ball” print on the back in large.
