Vans Snow gives us glimpse into their forthcoming AWT collection. Reworking the Chukka Low, Mountain Edition and Switchback silhouettes, Vans “redesigned and reinforced the shoes to operate in wet, rugged conditions.” Each sneaker is packed with weather-resistant features including 3M Scotchguard® infused premium leather, suede and textile uppers, fully gusseted tongue, thick water repellant laces, and inverted waffle sole for superior traction. Unfortunately these don’t drop until 2011. They’d sure be handy right now.

After an incredible Summer and a number of solid Fall releases, Vans Holiday 2009 is starting to arrive. The Switchback debuts in a black waxed-canvas upper with hiking laces and a gum sole. A welcome addition to the family. The iconic Chukka boot is seen in two supple suede makeups: grey on grey and deep navy.  Each features round tonal laces. Bows & Arrows has stock.
