Mishka will be performing live in the Stussy Harajuku store on 7th of August. For the occasion the musician and the brand of course also worked on a collaborative t-shirt. The t-shirt will be released at the event and also in other Stussy Chapter Stores later on.

Last Sunday Raekwon hit the Island of Hawaii for a special concert at Empire Men’s Club. For the occasion In4mation produced a limited run of t-shirts with Morals Fiber. The shirts were initially only available to concert goers, but a few remain and are up for grabs at In4mation shops.

LA’s Rogue Status has teamed up with NYC based Mighty Healthy on this long-time-coming release. The front of the shirt reads “To Bake and Fry in LA” while the back is emblazoned with each brand’s respective logo. No definitive release info is available thus far, but you can be sure to see this shirt at Rogue Status and Mighty Healthy retailers later this year.

Nigo presents a new Bape 16th Anniversary T-Shirt that he hand-screen-printed himself. He admits that there is no real meaning to the works on the t-shirt. His first shop Nowhere is mentioned, as well as the 16th anniversary of Bape as a brand. The t-shirt will be released on 5th of May at Bapexclusive.

January 20 is a big day for all Americans, a fact not lost on the Mishka design crew. Rather than throw up a full celebratory package for the inauguration they’ve given their “event” t-shirt a direct political bent. Optimism is high, but fears of politics being politics haven’t subsided everywhere. The “Bootleg Black Bart” T-Shirt is at once an ode to Young Jeezy as a shout to the new President. We might add that the Black Bart element lends some early ’90s flare too. Exclusive to the Mishka site starting January 16, 2009.

Celebrate Martin Luther King day in style this year with a classic Undrcrwn caricature t-shirt. “It was all a dream” reads the tag line, rendered with a historic photographic print.

In preparation for the inauguration on January 20th, Stussy DC and Commonwealth will be combining forces for a party on the 19th. A few friends will be dropping by to provide entertainment. DC’s own Wale and UGK’s Bun B among them. The theme, following the reality of the inauguration, is “Historic.” Familiar Stussy and Commonwealth logos fill the required letters and combine with the now ubiquitous Obama “O,” for the related graphic, which will be released on special edition t-shirts. According to Play Cloths, January 20 marks the beginning of “The Good New Days.” Let’s hope so. Patriotic feeling abounds in their celebration t-shirt, giving their now familiar logo some stars and stripes appeal. Fresh of his “Ghosts of the Barbary Coast” exhibition at Fifty24SF, Jeremy Fishal has released a co-branded t-shirt with his SuperFishal and Upper Playground. The t-shirt follows the theme of old San Francisco that drove his recent work – all the heroes and harlots of the gold rush era. Shirts come in both men’s and women’s cut.

To Orist channels the spirit of exploration and tourism for inspiration. It’s the brainchild of Brain Ghatii, whose developed the concept down to luggage style tags and airmail style purchase tags. Imagery on the current garments takes from archeology, apparent in the King Tut graphic, up to space travel. To Orist is available now from Oki-Ni.
