Play Cloths officially launched just a few weeks ago. A duo of web-exclusive tees marked the true birth, and December 1 sees a mixtape drop. Beyond, there’s a full holiday line. After Bape and WTAPS, Neighborhood also collaborated with Cool Trans magazine to celebrate the magazine’s 13th anniversary. The t-shirt is limited to 100 pieces worldwide.

“Wu-Tang Clan ain’t nothing to…!!!”

So when you want to generate some buzz using the clan name, you better make it official. Raekwon is no stranger to streetwear, working collaborations with the likes of Supreme, Diamond Supply Co.,and Alife. Rae’ s newest collab effort, has him linking up with Akomplice and streetwear retailer, Tradition.

This tee released in 3 colors this Saturday, November 22nd at 1:00 p.m. exclusively at Tradition. A very limited Wu-Tang yellow colorway (only 24 pieces) released later on that night at the Akomplice season 9 release party also at Tradition.

San Francisco’s True has produced some striking New Eras over the years. Their latest takes it direct to their home state, and riffs of the California flag. The hat releases this coming Saturday, November 15, and with it True has also prepared a selection of related garments.

For their upcoming December 2008 tour of Japan and Australia, seminal 1980’s straight edge hardcore band Gorilla Biscuits have teamed up with San Francisco’s Super7 to create a vinyl figure of their mascot, the Gorilla that graced the cover of their first self-titled 7″. Considered to be one of the greatest NYHC bands of all time, and many say the single most important of the late 80’s NYHC explosion (along with labelmates Youth of Today and Judge), Gorilla Biscuits left a wake beyond the straight edge and hardcore scene, and dented the entire punk scene as a whole, crossing scenes and genres the likes of which only Minor Threat before them had been able to do. More than 20 years after their initial single and follow up “Start Today” lp, Gorilla Biscuits are defining hardcore for an entire new generation of fans and bands.

The Gorilla vinyl figure first release will be a white, blue and black colorway, set to match the first pressing of the self-titled 7″, and will be available only from the band during their December tour. A small amount of the figure will also be available from Super7 in early December. Due to the overwhelming interest in the figure, Super7 has released this picture of the first prototype test shot of the new figure. As if their legitimacy to make the figure needed questioning, record collectors and Gorilla Biscuits fans everywhere have been gawking at the promotional photograph, showing the new figure nestled among rare pressings of the first 7″, including the near mythical “102″ pressing of the 7″, as well as one of only 3 known to exist off-white vinyl copies of the original 7″. Also available exclusively during the tour is a Gorilla Biscuits collaboration tee with iconic Japanese street fashion brand Bounty Hunter. Seizing on their opportunity to work with one of Hikaru’s favorite bands of all time, the t-shirt features the giant Gorilla front and center in typical Bounty Hunter style.

Music facilitates movement of cultural ideas and fashions. It also forges bonds between people. These notions are central to the new collaboration helmed by Real Real Genuine. Machine 17, the creative outlet for Ben Robinson of D.I.E. (and formally Full Count). The t-shirt celebrates the sounds and venues of Northern Soul.

Japanese brand Swagger got together with The Cool Kids to collaborate on a t-shirt. The t-shirt will be released in the near future, so keep your eyes open for the release.

For the launch of the Nike x Married To The Mob Dunk Hi the two brands also worked on a t-shirt. The t-shirt has a slightly longer fit. The MOB logo is featured on the chest in small and NIKE MOB in gold on the back.

In celebration of Q-Tip’s new album, The Renaissance, Universal Motown Records commissioned Absurd to design a limited-edition tee to commemorate the album’s release; the collaboration between Absurd and Universal Motown was facilitated by Epiphany. Co-designed by Angelo Baque of Absurd and Virus, the tee has been produced in a super limited run and will be seeded to a select list of industry heavyweights, friends, and family. The Renaissance drops November 4th, 2008 and is available on iTunes.

Las Vegas based boutique Fruition has just released a new limited edition t-shirt. The “History Script” tee comes in white and features a Fruition logo print on the front.
