TISA presents the ‘TISA Bear by Taz Arnold’ T-Shirt Series and we really like it. If you grew up with the Polo Bear, then this is a pretty nice new interpretation of the iconic graphic by Ralph Lauren. Taz Arnold basically restyled the bear, adding some spiked Louboutin’s, MCM leather biker jackets, TISA snapback caps, Hermes belts, Gucci loafers and other favorite products to it. Overall the series includes three t-shirt designs, each coming in grey and white colorways, all available from colette (storeguide).

After a teaser video, we can present to you today ‘The Americans’ Collection, bringing together Taz Arnold and his love for Polo Ralph Lauren and the skills and aesthetics of Dr. Romanelli.

Taking Taz’s massive collection of vintage Polo, the duo have cut and collaged and reworked and revolutionized. The result is Taz’s cherished archives – now transformed into a limited run of exquisite, hand sewn jackets, hat, and totes. The Americans have taken Polo’s iconic early ‘90s Teddy Bear/Ski Lodge prep, beloved by early hip-hop icons and cool kids alike… and transformed it into their own poetic ode to pop culture.”

Some of the most iconic Polo trademarks are used in the collection, mixed with a vintage sport aesthetic. The combination of graphics, materials and silhouettes is very impressive and throws you back in time. We will keep you posted on the launch of the collection.

Here we preview one of the Taz Arnold designed shoes set to launch this Summer. The ” Double FF’$ ” feature one of three prints created by TI$A for the shoes collection to be produced by Stampd’. As you might know by know, Taz Arnold is a fan of classic monogram prints. Last year he remixed with Phenomenon the MCM pattern, on the sneaker you now find an interpretation of the classic Fendi monogram.

The first single from tAz Arnold aka TI$A is ‘Southside Blood Cuz’n’ featuring Major, from tAz’$ forthcoming solo LP ‘HOOD LOVE’. This is also the launch and first release from TI$A RECORD$.

Once again Creative Control is at it and presents the first episode of Ti$aVision TV by Taz Arnold. The excentric musician is in his LA studio in action and also gives a little tour of the product project that he has been working on in recent months.

“The word “crazy” gets tossed around unduly when speaking of people who may be on another wavelength or maybe even ahead of their time. The non-linear thought process of ‘tAz Arnold aka Ti$a’ has definitely garnered him the “crazy” moniker but his ability to curb that right brain thinking into efforts such as music and clothing would brand him more as an eccentric due to his ability to harness his creativity. From working with musicians such as Kanye West, Herbie Hancock, Erykah Badu, Iggy Pop and his own group, SA-RA Creative Partners to fashion brands such as MCM and Kanye West’s now defunct Pastelle, ‘tAz has proven that just because they can’t understand you doesn’t mean you’re not making sense. Creative Control spent some time with Ti$a’ in his L.A. studio to find a method to his perceived madness.”

In the last couple of weeks we have reported several times about the new Tisa brand by Taz Arnold. The new brand has already in their first season landed an impressive collaboration with German luxury luggage maker MCM. Previously we have shown you the New Era caps out of the collaboration. Here we take a first look at the duffle bag.

Just like with the New Era caps, the duffle bag takes the iconic MCM logo pattern onto a piece where it has never been before – a modern duffle bag. It should be coming in both the blue and beige colorway very soon.
