NIKE created its Tech Pack collection in order to take something familiar and reinterpret it through their signature innovation process. It’ an evolution: taking iconic pieces from NIKE’s DNA and fusing them with innovative fabrics and design embellishments. Together, Michael Leon and Jarrett Reynolds, the designers behind Tech pack, created the Summer 08 collection by combining cutting edge performance materials and diverse fabrications with sophisticated design techniques and original graphics, and then adapted each garment for everyday use and the culture surrounding sport.
The same philosophy that saw the evolution of the NIKE Windrunner jacket, and includes subtle references to NIKE ACG (All Conditions Gear), was used in the modernization of the humble polo and NIKE tee, allowing for the inclusion of other iconic elements in the Tech Pack collection. For Summer 08, designers Jarrett and Michael are adding cycling-inspired elements to the Tech pack theme. Throughout each piece in the Summer 08 collection, subtle attributes such as 360-degree reflectivity, accessible pockets for quick storage, and packable qualities , easily translate each product from morning to evening.
Graphically, Michael stayed true to the “Day and Night” theme, which is echoed in subtle design allusions to dark city landscapes and the ultimate nighttime creatures – howling coyotes.

Here comes the net part of the Nike Tech Pack, that was just released a couple of weeks ago. Once again Nike presents an Air Max 1 Supreme and an Air Safari Supreme in new colors and materials.
Not only the colorways changed. The Air Max 1 Supreme now come with a mesh toe box. The Air Safari Supreme looks better in this new version, than in the previous one.
Nort Berlin will be releasing both sneakers on the 14th of March. After the jump detailed pictures of both sneakers.

Just yesterday we presented to you the Nike Tech Pack Safari, here now the Air Max 1 out of the same pack. It features a multicolor upper, mostly black and aqua though and the Safari pattern in several colors. It will be released around the same time as the Tech Pack Safari Premium, so end of February. We present you the new Nike Tech Pack Safari Supreme. The upper comes in all black premium leather with accents including the Safari pattern in light green. An overall solid shoe. Nort Berlin will be releasing the shoe on the 22nd of February.

First products of the Nike Spring/Summer 2008 Tech Pack have been released these past days. SlamJam now got in the Better Windrunner. The windrunner comes in 100% lightweight nylon in two colorways – black/white and blue/white. Certainly an interesting piece and more exciting than the first round windrunners.

As part of their Tech Pack, Nike will be releasing next year these sneakers under a Safari theme. The upper is covered in a nice heavy suede, and the respective green or orange safari bubble are a nice contrast to that. Definitely a two nice sneakers, that have not been “overdesigned”. The latest pieces of the Nike Tech Pack have started entering stores. This time they released a leather varsity jacket and matching leather fitted cap. Both the jacket and the cap come in black leather with subtle brown branding. This pack will match the upcoming Tier Zero Nike Tech Pack Air Max 90 360 release, that you can expect soon.

The Nike Air Max 90 360 comes in premium materials and is dominated by black and brown colors, just like the jacket and the cap.

We have seen the Tech Pack Blazers and the Tech Pack AM 90’s. Next in line to be released will be the Nike Tech Pack Air Trainer 1’s. Unlike the previous releases, this one comes in much more colorful with a pink and a yellow colorway. These will be released this Saturday, September 22nd, at Concepts Boston.

We have extensively reported about the Nike Tech Pack that is releasing these days around the globe. For the project Nike also got together with Medicom to make a matching Bearbrick. It was designed by Singaporean artist Rebel One and simply wears the classic Nike windrunner and indicates the 26 degree ankle design of the windrunner. The bearbrick is supposed to drop some time around September as a special gift. We’ll let you know once we know more about it. Via Kix-Files/ToyREvil.

This morning we reported about Firmament now having a Tier 0 account and that they will start with the Nike Air Max 90 Tech Pack. We only showed you one colorway, the pack actually consists of three AM90’s, but the ones we show you here are not part of the Tier 0 program – the other two come with purple and grey/khaki accents. Am Firmament from Berlin had some great news for us today. As of this Fall they will also carry the Nike Tier 0 collection. They will start this exciting new venture by releasing September 1rst the Nike Air Max 90 Tech Pack. We have presented you the incredible Tech Pack apparel collection a couple of weeks ago, consisting of glued and lasered t-shirts, hoodies, windrunners and the most exciting product in the collection, the M-65 jackets.
Now comes the footwear for the collection and you can set your expectations just as high. Special materials, special construction and also colorways – overall subtle and solid with an emphasis on quality and innovation.
Mark you calendars, as Firmament will be releasing the Nike AM90 Tech Pack September 1rst!

We have reported about the Nike Tech Pack before and attended the official presentation with the designers in Milan a couple of months ago. Thanks to Hypebeast we can show you nice pictures of the entire line-up.
Global athletic brand Nike has taken a different approach to everyday fashion with the introduction of the Tech Pack, designed by Jarrett Reynolds and Michael Leon. Nike’s technological advances in the athletic industry has been nothing short of remarkable as they continually push boundaries to create an athletic edge for its wearers. However the Tech Pack is now offering it’s heralded technologies on a more casual front. Items such as the classic Windrunner jacket are now being created with performance materials and new age fabrication techniques to allow for a better every day experience.

To aid in this process, Nike enlisted various designers and style leaders around the world for their help in creating the perfect product. At the initial presentation of the line the designers told us that they had for the M-65 jacket that is part of the pack, they had something crazy like 50 samples made before achieving the perfect product. The line consists of windbreakers, t-shirts, crewneck sweaters, jackets and more.
At first the line will be expensive, even though worth the money. But once the technology involved in the collection becomes mainstream, which we predict, prices will also be going down. It is great seeing that Nike is being innovative again!

Just earlier today we showed you the first part of the Nike Tech Pack Blazers in all black with the synthetic upper. Nort Berlin received now a military green version of that Blazer as well. Very simple, but also very nice. You cannot do anything wrong with these.

Overkill just received the Nike “Tech Pack” Blazer. It features an all synthetic black upper with a smooth leather toe cap and a rubber beige sole with iceblue details. Definitely a nice and solid snekaer.
