The entire collection has been designed by the Head Designer of TBG, a brand that we report on frequently. We present you here the Pearson Field Jacket, inspired by the classic M-65. It comes in a black pin-stripe design, giving the jacket a very sleek look. Also this Canada Goose collection is very comfortable to wear and almost soft, which is not the case for most technical outerwear.
Expect the new Canada Goose Non-Insulated Collection to hit stores worldwide next moth. More pics after the jump.

All pieces in the collection are both breathable and water resistant, as they use Gore-Tex for the entire 485 collection. The jackets come in black, olive and brown and stay overall subtle, concentrating on the essentials.
We are glad to see The North Face moving this direction. The collection has been released this season and is now available at The North Face retailers as well as online. Spiewak, the leader in innovative outerwear since 1904, has teamed up with Kidrobot, the leader in the designer toy movement, to create a limited edition field jacket available in select Kidrobot shops worldwide for holiday 2007.

This collaboration combines Kidrobot’s playful irreverence with Spiewak’s fit and design sense to create a jacket that is a must have for collectors and people who crave technical, one-of-a-kind outerwear. The M-43 Field Jacket is available in either purple or black and is limited to 112 and 288 jackets respectively. The purple jacket features the classic Kidrobot “robot head” pattern and the black features the “rainbow” pattern throughout the lining of the jacket extending through the placket. Additional details from the mad laboratories at Kidrobot include reworking the standard issue military pockets to create unique pockets on a slant, adding contrast knit cuffs and embroidered logo, custom Spiewak and Kidrobot labels and hangtags, and an embroidered limited edition number sewn into each jacket.

Spiewak reworked a style they first manufactured in WWII to a slimmer fit and added in new details for the urban landscape. Four fleece-lined pockets are found on the outside, two of which are double entry. Spiewak has also added a rounded inner pocket featuring an additional hidden stash pocket buried within for music players or other gear. The other side features pen and marker slots for that creative moment on the street. Borrowing from its uniform division, Spiewak has added a unique drop-in hood that drops down the back of the jacket rather than being rolled up in the collar. The jacket is constructed of a high-density microfiber shell that is coated with Teflon for water-resistance and lined with Thinsulate for added warmth without bulk.

The Kidrobot x Spiewak jacket is available exclusively through kidrobot.com and Kidrobot retail stores for $250.00.
686 has been around for over 15 years creating progressive technical apparel inspired directly from LA and mountain lifestyle roots. Years ago, 686 began collaborating with companies to create a collection called TIMES, where the collaboration is the invention of a new product.
To help celebrate the 15th Crystal Anniversary, 686 teamed up with New Era to create a collection of products that combine street style and technical function for something truly unique. The limited edition line of outerwear features the first waterproof and breathable 59FIFTY cap that conveniently attaches to the hood of the jackets.
Taking style cues from both current and historical urban influences, the TIMES collection features an exclusive 686 vintage baseball woven jacquard and printed fabrications, along with custom New Era 59FIFTY accented trims and linings. The coordinating pants, with their custom New Era key chain accessory, complete the ensemble for any true rider and tastemaker.
It is nice seeing New Era thinking outside the box with collaborations such as this one and the DC collaborations. After the jump some more pictures of the 686 x New Era Times Collection.

Japanese brand hobo got together with mountain supply company Arai Tent to make some technical backpacks. The outcome are some classic, lightweight, technical backpacks in several colorways. Hobo is a brand known for their leather gods, luggage, accessories, etc.
If you analyze the Japanese way of collaborating it really always goes after the same pattern. A creative rather small brand chooses a large brand that is well known for a certain product type. Instead of trying to do something as good and failing, they work with market leaders right from the start, and re-interpretate their classics. The other type of collaboration is simply teaming up with befriended brands. Both scenarios make totally sense.
Anyways, the new Arai Tent x hobo backbacks will be available in the Honeyee store.
