Last year German-based plush toy company Steiff released a collaborative teddy bear with legendary fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld. Now they present another high-profile release with Japanese cotton masters, Loopwheeler. Well known for their recent work with Nike Sportswear, Loopwheeler manufactured a miniature hoody complete with elastic cuffs, metal zipper, chest patch and screenprinting. Denim overalls and canvas sneakers are also in the works for a final release. The patch was created with a Germany meets Japan motif – paying homage to the global nature of the collaboration. End of August we first reported about the exciting get together of Steiff plush toy makers and superstar designer Karl Lagerfeld. The collaborative teddy bear has now finally been released at Colette in Paris. This is the first teddy bear for older kids, which is not only reflected by the looks of it, but also by the price – it goes for 1000 Euros.

Rumors have been floating around for a bit and now we can finally show you first images of the Karl Lagerfeld x Steiff teddy bear, turning famous designer Lagerfeld into a plush toy.
"When the famous toy brand, Margarete Steiff, allows itself to produce the first ever "couture" teddy bear, it ’s with the master of today’s luxury Karl Lagerfeld. A unique and unusual collaboration that shows us, one more time, how Lagerfeld is always on the avant garde. Steiff keeps on the innovation and brings you the first teddy bear made for older kids." The teddy bear comes wearing the famous black suit and sunglasses, an outfit by the designer that one got used to over the years. And of course the famous button in the ear, that all Steiff plush toys carry, is also present. You can expect this to be a collectors item. We will soon be able to tell you more about the release.
***Update: Alright, we got some more info on the release now. The Karl Lagerfeld Teddy Bear by Steiff, will be released in September at Neiman Marcus in New York and will go for above 1400 USD a piece.***

We just came across some very special product from Evisu. The Japanese denim company released a Zippo, Teddy Bears and a Helmet. All three pieces come of course covered in denim with lots of nice details. The helmet is a collaboration with Acejet and the lighter with Zippo.

All three are now available in several colorways at Ripe. Check out some more pictures after the jump.
