A couple of weeks ago we reported about the soon to be released Solebox x Lacoste Tennis 91 sneaker, which comes with a terry cotton upper, looking very much like a towel. 
Solebox will release the sneaker in a limited edition of 30 pairs on August 22nd and the sneakers come with the matching Solebox towel. The towel features the Solebox logo embossed and you will also be able to buy the towel separately for 40 Euros.

Thanks to Sneaker Freaker we can show you some nicer images of the upcoming Solebox x Lacoste Tennis 91. Black terry towelling and fluoro green hits make up this special shoe, which will come extremely limited – only 30 pairs will be released. You do get a matching towel with it as well!

First images of the Solebox x Lacoste Tennis 91 collaboration surfaced a while ago. Today we can give you a detailed look at the collaborative sneaker and give you the release details.
The sneaker is limited to 30 pairs and will be released on August 22nd. Not only the entire upper is made of the same material as towels, they will also come with an embossed Solebox towel as an extra.

Lacoste is celebrating their 75th anniversary in 2008 and aside from a dedicated clothing collection for both men and women for the occasion, they also made a footwear line as part of their premium Stealth Collection.
The collection overall consists of 5 styles – Dot, Ardeur, Cabestan,. Missouri and Tennis 91. They all come in a black/white colorway. All shoes in this pack feature embossed original 1933 croc branding, which is exclusive to this range and unseen on any other Lacoste sneakers. Nice is also the addition of their boat shoe into the pack.
The Lacoste 75th anniversary Stealth Pack is hitting stores on July 5th.

As usual Solebox has many collaboration aligned. Just recently we gave you a first look at the upcoming Asics Gel Lyte III collaboration and here you already get a first look at their collaboration with Lacoste.
With Lacoste they worked on the Tennis 91. For the upper they chose terry cloth, usually found on towels. The sole comes in white/neon green. Definitely an interesting mix. Pic via The Clones.

From the Lacoste archives we present you a first look at the Tennis 91. Part of the stealth collection, the Tennis 91 is being released in its two original colors complete with authentic rubber molded crocodile. A medial side ventilation system keeps the foot cool on court. In addition to the Tennis 91, Lacoste is also coming with some fresh colorways of the Ibiza model.
